Reckless casting and furious gnome

  • It was quiet and peaceful day in Jiyyd and few persons were gathered in town square. Mostly discussing in pairs sitting on same benches it seems that discussion with two young mages went on showing their capabilities to each other on the town square. As it came to turn of young human with natural skills towards fire magic, he seemed to underevaluate his powers shooting burst of fire from his hands and hitting to two persons sitting on nearby bench. This happened apparently by accident, but this didn't seem to amuse two persons sitting on that bench Elvadriel Gal'awen, professor Spellweaver Academy and Aleum Kumma, professor of Academy and headmaster of Spellweaver Keep.

When fire disturbed their conversation, Aleum jumped immediately up, eyed furiously youngster behind reckless casting and blasted him on middle of chest with red magical beam pushing him violently backwards. That didn't calm down fury of professor Kumma, whom interrogated youngster who his master was, as well as claimed that "Power without knowledge is no real power!".
Youngster's friend tried to calm fury of the professor, with some success.
As more people started to gather around, professor Kumma commanded youngster to follow him, taking him to direction of the Jiyyd swamp. For others around, he gave clear command to stay where they are and take care of other things they were doing.

Then professor and youngster were seen to head in direction the swamp..
