    Fedar was born in a small fishing village on the Icelace. He had always dreamed of becoming a sailor, hearing tales of their adventures on the seas. Fedar's family were fisherfolk, they went out to sea every morning on their small boat to catch fish. They were very poor, since they rarely cought any fish.

    On one such morning, a large ship approached them at sea. The family had brought in enough fish to feed hundreds. Their good luck was about to change however as the people on the ship boarded their vessel and took the family to their ship. Captain Sevlan, was awaiting them there.

    Captain Sevlan was a well-muscled human with a huge, messy beard. He was known for his cruelty on the lake. After seeing their large catch, he decided to take them aboard and make them provide food for his crew. Sevlan's crew took the fish and feasted upon it for two nights. By then, Fedar had asked the captain if he could become a member of the crew, and Sevlan told him he could clean up after his crew at meals. This was Fedar's first job aboard a ship, and he took to it with gusto.

    The rest of Fedar's family had to keep on fishing for the crew. For the first few days, they caught many fish, but those days would not last. Fedar's family started catching very little, and the Captain grew displeased with them. He realized that there would be more food if his sailors went back to catching fish by themselves. Sevlan then hatched a plan that would get rid of Fedar's family, but still keep Fedar, who was becoming better and better at doing tasks on the ship.

    The night Sevlan's plan went in to motion, Sevlan gave Fedar the night off, and he spent it playing cards with his crewmates. Meanwhile, Sevlan brutally murdered Fedar's family, and threw them overboard. The next morning, Fedar searched for his parents. He asked Sevlan where they went, and Sevlan told him they went back to their home village without him. Sevlan then further explained with, "They wanted you to be a full member of my crew. Welcome aboard Fedar!"

    Forgetting about his family, Fedar started working alongside the crew. He never knew what sort of business Sevlan was in. Fedar presumed he was a merchant, since he and the crew often went aboard other ships to 'trade' with them. Fedar was now part of the crew, so he was invited on such trips. He found that they simply boarded the ship, gutted the guards, and took whatever goods they found onboard.

    Fedar was never the nicest person, so he particularly enjoyed raiding defenseless people's ships. After a few raids, Fedar was feared as a fast and deadly fighter. He could take over a ship in the blink of an eye by the time he was 16. However, Fedar's skills grew greater than the captain's and every day Fedar challenged the captain's authority. Sevlan decided to make Fedar fear and respect him through a show of force.

    Sevlan piloted the ship back to Fedar's fishing village. He then placed members of the crew inside Fedar's house. He took out a torch, and threatened to burn down the house down. The sailors within were told to plead and complain, to make it sound like Fedar's family was within.

    However, instead of doing what Sevlan expected, he ran into the house and found the sailors there. He realized that his family would be asleep at this hour, so if they were not here, they'd be dead. In a rage, Fedar went out and gutted Sevlan with his shortsword, killing him. Fedar then proclaimed himself the captain of the ship, and sailed to a beach near Peltarch, where he sunk the ship and split the booty within. He then decided to go to the large port city Peltarch, and make his fortune there.

    Appearance:
    Fedar has light brown skin, dark brown hair, blue eyes, and has very little facial hair. He looks like he's about 20 years old, and his voice is deep. He looks fairly attractive in all.

    Personality:
    He is polite to everyone, figuring that if everyone likes him, no one is going to kill him. He is adventurous and seems nice until you notice he'll do anything for money, a bad habit that he got from Sevlan. He is not very religious, but offers money to the church of Umberlee and prays before every voyage. The word that best describes Fedar is pirate.
