Zedak's past

Zedak was an orphan child in an elven village. He was a strange child,never liking to go inside, always wanting to stay outside. Zedak's foster parents taught Zedak the ways of nature. Zedak was most interested on how nature worked. He would wander the forests, climbing trees and playing with the animals. Zedak was rarely at home with his foster parents. He even spent some nights out in the woods, while the foster parents were worried sick about him probably his whole life. Nothing in the woods would harm Zedak, it was as if he was one with nature…
One night, he heard the sound of leaves crunching and loud whispers. He got up from his leafy bed, searching. He saw two figures: They both looked to be human and they where both holding weapons, one with a bow and one with a sword. He saw them point in some direction and Zedak looked to where they were pointing. Zedak saw a dear, standing, drinking from a pond. The figures made some motions and began to move toward the dear, quietly. Zedak watched, not moving, to scared to confront these humans. The one with the bow knocked an arrow and aimed straight at the deer. The man shot the arrow, hitting the deer in the side. Zedak gasped, but remained still, knowing that they were probably hunting for food. The human with the sword went to the deer corpse and began to skin it. "Hey, this'll fetch some coin back home." Said the man, holding up the hide of the deer. The other man nodded and they left the remains of the deer.
When they left, Zedak went to the corpse, seeing the gruesome sight. Zedak began to cry for the deer and wondered why anyone would kill for nothing. Zedak then vowed to protect the lands and woods from all who would harm it...
