End of Solitude

  • A small merchant caravan halts to a stop in front of Jiyyd's western gates and an a sturdy, iron-clad figure about half the size of a grown up man hops down from the lead wagon. He opens the gate for the caravan and beckons them in giving the lead merchant a polite bow as the wagon passes him by.

After closing the gate behind the caravan, the full-plated character heads to north nodding his head once or twice in recognition to some of the older residents of the village.

After a little while, the short man arrives at the Silver Valley gates and swings them open with obvious respect.

Yarchum Ammathwood steps through the familiar gate for the first time in five years and draws in a deep breath of Silver Valley air.

"Glad to be back", he says with a satisfied smile, and heads to the Silver Stream to wash off the dirt of the road.
