Characteristics of Ethrun Currently Incorrect, do not refer or read!
He has clear love for the woods and its denizens, and enjoys being in the wild alot, this is part of the reason why the elf spends most of his time patrolling about the forests of narfell, besides the reason that it is his duty as a ranger to do so.
Being well trained and from frequent strolls in the woods, the elf's senses are finely tuned, possessing sharp sense of sight, able to spot what is hard to be seen, even in darker conditions. (dim vision and points in spot, racial bonuses too)
Fine training has also moulded the elf to be exceptionally fast and agile, the rate at which he wields his weapons, the speed at which he dodges blows is astonishing to say the least. (dex 19)
From experiences gained since young, the elf has grown wiser about the ways of the world and the wild, and has learned to not be revealing and to be more reserved, and composed. (WIS 13, will be 14 at lvl8)
Therefore most of the time Ethrun walks amongst the darker shadowy parts of the wild, choosing not to be seen if possible. Because it had been practiced since a very young age (Ethrun was trained by the rangers at the elven encampment), Ethrun naturally walks with dead silence, always careful not to break any twigs on the ground yet at the same time maintaining positions where he is hard to be seen, so as not to disturb aggressive animals or monstrous denizens of the woods, for the elven ranger does not provoke unnecessarily. (high sneak & ms)
Though the elf seems wise, he holds onto some principles which are not widely accepted and agreeded upon by many. Ethrun believes little in laws, because of awareness of the existence and occurence of greedy merchants oppressing poor peasants, political city figures (magistrates, senators etc) concerned with only selfish goals, and corrupted militias bullying the poor, extorting gold and siding alongside criminals, the elf have come to a conclusion: Laws are nothing but something set by men as an aid to help them abuse the weak and act as a protection, calling in the name of "law" so that they can escape the arms of justice. Any who are rich, witty, and who have enough influence could use "laws" to get things their way and get away with things. Since laws are rigid and blindless and is subjected to abuse by evil characters, laws are pretty much useless and serve only as a tool for evil in the eyes of the elf.
Rather, Ethrun believes the heart should be what guides, for the heart is not blind and can be adaptable to different situations, instead of dead rigid laws. Not only that, the heart cannot be abused like laws for it is living. Hence the elf cares and respects little of laws, but does obey the customs and rules to a certain extend for he believes in the rights of others. Regardless, the elf is a kind individual who believes in the virtues, just one who uses the heart as his compass instead of the laws of the world which are created by man and is merely a tool. (Chaotic Good)
The elf roams and travels extensively, throughout the woods of all of narfell, and only returns to a nearby town occasionally to restock supplies. He does the washing mainly by rivers, his food from animals, (the ranger hunts occasionally in moderation) and happily sleeps within the woods in the company of animals, sometimes his companion Cagalli, thus is frequently muddy with all manner of the woods hanging about him.

(ooc: i'll just stop here and update if anything else comes to my mind about Ethrun 🙂 , thanks for your interest in reading )
