Jiyyd Rumors

Taria eagerly responds to the rumors that it was on public property, the pig had no identifying marks and was quite stronger than average so had a fair chance of being dangerous, and that if an owner had later claimed a pig to be missing then she would pay the cost of the pig without fuss.
After that she giggles.
-
Zach tries to find the authorities in down (or so it is said) he wishes to report an act of destruction of private property by the priestess Tairia on a pig in the commons despite it being pointed out to her it was not hers to destory.
-
The paladin of Sune, Caling, has further bad news to report regarding the marks of darkness.
It seems that some powerful demon may have been bound within the egg, or something. Despite the best efforts of Sir Shannon, Sabre, Genevieve and herself, the demon-thing escaped their attempts to destroy it and fled into the swampy night.
They plan an expedition to defeat it, better prepared to fight its skeleton and shadow minions.

Drow. That very word is whispered now in terrible rumors. One of the stories has it that a young tinkerer was assaulted twice by foul drow wizardry and when a group of adventurers went to investigate they found the roads overrun by spiders.
-
_Rumour also spreads of a group of Sails, including Genevieve, Sabre, the somewhat odd Taria and the man known as Hawk, along with the mage Yolanda and the Gondar priest Dentin, who went into the sewers to hunt for traps. They returned many hours later, looking quite worn and ill-tempered. There was a short gathering, wherein the priestesss Taria removed what would have been a strange curse of darkness upon Genevieve, which manifested itself as a black mark. Adding to that the talk of their encounter with a great many shadows, along with the altar that held a strange, obsidian, egg-like stone that seems to be capable of absorbing all energy directed at it, and quite impervious to attack.
The link between their adventure, and the current happenings surrounding Zoma seems almost impossible to deny._

The blond, golden-eyed elven linguist happens to share a more elaborate version of the shadows and the white-haired devil to all those interested. In his tellings of the story, there's also a man dying.
-
_Nathander is seen certainly agreeing.
Though no one is really sure as to what he is agreeing with._

Rumors spread quickly of a sacrificed mother and daugther found east of Jiyyd shortly after a large snow storm began by a group of adventures led by none other then PEPPY! and some other people… Though the bodies were taken away to the temple of helm to be tended by the acolytes and the circle itself was wiped away by a dispel, the snow continues to fall though not as hard as before. Talk of a white haired female mage and the diety known as censored due to town law are told in dark corners. It is generally agreed however that if not for Peppy.. the entire town may be blanketed under twenty feet of snow (that may or may not be agreed upon, depending on whether the rumor was being heard from a small hin mage in red and white robes).

_A commotion occurred right outside the smith shop, centering on a particular one eyed man with silver hair as well as a group of other adventurers present.
Suddenly, shadowy figures with red glowing eyes appeared from the ground and began a surprise attack on the group followed by tendril like hands appearing from the shadows on the ground to claim a life of a man nearby.
Rumours from the townfolks of Jiyyd believe that the cause of chaos originated from the one eyed man known to be as "Zoma" and his "Shadows".
Not much is known about the incident for no one dared to associate with the event when it happened and thus, it became a rumour._

Damain Colten offers his aid in the name of Helm

Rando sends word to Trent for a meeting between the two
-
Rumor has it that Trent has began calling in what can best be described as a helmite army to help spread the word of helm. He's often seen in the company of Lens and has several men in tow, all wearing the signature red armor. Rumor has it that he is talking of helping the Legion build a better Militia. Whatever it is he and Lens are seen talking about sure has captured Len's ear and he seems more than pleased to have the new arrivals in town.
-
Travellers passing through Jiyyd note that the road to Ormpur appears to have lost its furry black and white predators, but that the Swamps south of the township have become strikingly more dangerous. There is talk of trolls, and other such unsavoury creatures infesting the billious moor.
-
Rumor has it that the man who arrived during the undead war in Mintas recently has been seen talking to Lens more and more. Lens has been seen walking beside him nodding quite adamantly at the conversation as if in sincere agreement. The name Trent is floating around more and more.

Two hins were seen eating the contents of the pot and commenting that it was the best thing they ever had. They even resorted to eating it off the ground after another lady emptied the pot in an attempt to stop them from eating. Shortly after they were seen being carried off to visit Vroka while grumbling about some bad pixie.

Well armed skeletons rose out of the ground in Jiyyd, not as part of waves as so many of the adventurers seem to get used to, but just in connection with a raven which used these to fight for him. Whether it was a raven or something else could not be decided. Although rumor has it the paladins know a lot more than they say.

_Rumours of Dregin attempting to sell fake accessories to adventurers are being gossiped by the fire.
He was seen speaking to a one eyed swordsman who claimed that the amulet the hin attempted to sell is a 'fake', whatever quality it may be made off. Dregin was last seen accusing that swordsman a 'liar' and 'thief' before stomping off angrily._

_Wolf was seen blessing the fields in Jiyyd, then approached by a guard afterwards. The guard apparently threatened the druid that if he blessed the fields again, without permission, he would "need blessings of his own."
The druid looked confused, though the next dawn he is seen blessing the fields once again, figuring Bisawn wouldnt mind the fields getting a little boost. He is seen doing this every dawn that he stays in Jiyyd, or until smacked by a guard._

Juster sees Elor's note while sticking his head inside the inn for a moment and immeadiately starts chuckling before dragging his tired self off to the valley.
