Jiyyd Rumors

_Rumours of Dregin attempting to sell fake accessories to adventurers are being gossiped by the fire.
He was seen speaking to a one eyed swordsman who claimed that the amulet the hin attempted to sell is a 'fake', whatever quality it may be made off. Dregin was last seen accusing that swordsman a 'liar' and 'thief' before stomping off angrily._

_Wolf was seen blessing the fields in Jiyyd, then approached by a guard afterwards. The guard apparently threatened the druid that if he blessed the fields again, without permission, he would "need blessings of his own."
The druid looked confused, though the next dawn he is seen blessing the fields once again, figuring Bisawn wouldnt mind the fields getting a little boost. He is seen doing this every dawn that he stays in Jiyyd, or until smacked by a guard._

Juster sees Elor's note while sticking his head inside the inn for a moment and immeadiately starts chuckling before dragging his tired self off to the valley.

Rumour has it that it rained blood recently, and that a large flock of ravens have been circling the town. Townsfolk in Jiyyd mutter about bad omens and many offer additional prayers to their patron gods. Drudo mainly complain about adventurers making a mess at the Inn, referring to one young woman in particular who was literally soaked in blood.

General Grag is seen on many occassions next to Lens during various material shipments into Jiyyd. Alot of nodding and seemingly concerned looks are seen between the two. One hin walking by swore he heard the word Militia then the General let out a booming fart and everyone scattered….

_A note in the Inn reads:
**Heroes wanted for Epic Quest for Epic Suggary Blueberry Muffin of Goodness, for the fair Lady Pretty El.
Squire Elor of Lady Caling**_

The cookpot of Jiyyd was recently subjected not to Nathander's socks, but rather his soiled undergarnments. Stunned spectators witnessed an unknowing Justene helping herself to a warming cup of soup from the very same pot just minutes after the inebriated bard had finished his dirtywork. Strangely no one raised a voice to warn the poor woman, but whether this was due to shock, callousness or even spite is anyone's guess.

Rumors spread of regular Legion patrols fom Jyiid to Pelt and back. These patrols happend at least once per day and are mostly lead by Major Kull of the Legion, other ranked legionares and the new recruits.
When asked for the price for the escort till pelt and vice versa, Kul can be heard saying:dee escort iz free. We charge nae shineez couse it be our duty da make sure da pass is free o gobbers fer travelers and merchants travel safely

_Rumors spread of trolls being seen in the swamps. Some say they even saw a half eaten corpse of some animal out there that has yet to be explained. Whatever is out there though certainly wishes to be left alone.
On a seperate note Lens has been seen around the town coordinating rebuilding and remodeling efforts. He has been seen standing in the Regal Whore quite a bit while fencing is brought inside for some reason.
Also a hin is rumored to have began setting up shop across from the Exotics shop. What he sells is still a mystery._

_There's rumors about a dispute between adventurers finding its way into the streets of Jiyyd, apperently a squire or bard had taken a gem for himself and tried to hide away in Jiyyd. He was brutally beaten up and relieved of gold and gems by two of his former companions. The guard wouldn't have any of it and simply exiled the man and woman, issuing them to a hefty fine.
In some related rumors, there's talk about disturbing the dead in the swamp going on. Just who stole from who seems to become less and less clear with every story told._

William Morrison was recently seen by the Fire in Jiyyd with a live orc (who was trussed up like a pig).
He spent some time asking if there was anyone present who spoke orcish. Unfortunately, the one person who did speak the language untied the orc and shooed him out of town rather than helping question him as to why orc witches were attacking people in Jiyyd, and what was going on with the unusual orc behavior on the Long Road and Central Plains.

It seems the druids have finally gone mad. Some people insist they saw two people accompanied by a huge wolf-like monster. Some would even claim they are sure it was a werewolf. Whether or not Rando or Keira adopted a werewolf as a companion, and whether or not it was a genuine werewolf or merely the result of some magic gone terribly wrong is a matter of speculation.

Lately, Dentin has been spending hours at an end just outside the east gates, staring towards the Coldstone Mountains with a grim demeanor, ignoring rain and snow and all but the most disruptive of happenings.
-
_The occurances with wild magic seem to be growing in scale by the day. Latest rumours suggest that twists of weave hijacked a few adventurers randomly from around the Narfell area and landed them in unknown caverns.
The tiny group is said to have fought through goblins, bugbears, ettins and an army of zombies on their way back to surface. Some even say they managed to destroy an altar of an evil goblinoid deity on their way. Apparently they somehow managed to find a magical way out of the caverns and ended up in a cave near Ormpur.
Bormus of the Troff clan, Danaley Notten of the Guardians, and Norwick militiaman/Black Sail Paci Kelteel are often mentioned in the rumours to have been involved in this escape from the undermountain._

Comments are made that it was in no way a killing attempt. The man in question was beat down, barefisted. However the general was fought with arms, after he beaten down a non-resisting Deacon Sterr, leader of the Sails.

Rumors fly that the black sails tried to kill a unarmed man and were dealt with by the head of defense General Grag all were seen slowly after beeing draggged to the cells with barely any life in them.. Some say Basha came out with a big grin and the half orc involved was crying as they all moped out of town….
-
In other news, Dentin has been travelling trough the town, spreading word that he would very much like his schematics back now, and will offer a reward to the person decent enough to return what was taken soon.
-
There was a slight disturbance as the Elor, ever assured of his own sexuality, was seen jumping trough a first floor inn window, running to the pond and leaping in, screaming "I can wash, but I'll never be clean".
Shortly after, the wizard Zora was seen at the pond as well, and the two decided that whatever had transpired was the result of a misunderstanding.

Bardic runners have been seen going up and down the nars and entering into Jiyyd and the Vally, going to different guild houses and seeking different people. They seem to be caring a scroll in hand.
((Guild members, might want to check this))

Several happy hins and gnomes spend some time around the Jiyyd cookpot on their way back home, winding down after a busy and successful festival in the Silver Valley. Some talk about their new purchases, others about the new friends they made. Winner of the stone-throwing contest was Jockser Tealeaf, the tale-telling uncle of the Tealeaf sisters. Some folks marvel that the human Paci could eat so much gnomish pie so quickly, and how he beat out several hungry hins to win the pie-eating contest. Others giggle how a young mother, Ragnhild, fought her way to the top in the boxing match. General consensus is that folks had a good time and are looking forward to the next festival.
