Jiyyd Rumors
-
Bardic runners have been seen going up and down the nars and entering into Jiyyd and the Vally, going to different guild houses and seeking different people. They seem to be caring a scroll in hand.
((Guild members, might want to check this))

Several happy hins and gnomes spend some time around the Jiyyd cookpot on their way back home, winding down after a busy and successful festival in the Silver Valley. Some talk about their new purchases, others about the new friends they made. Winner of the stone-throwing contest was Jockser Tealeaf, the tale-telling uncle of the Tealeaf sisters. Some folks marvel that the human Paci could eat so much gnomish pie so quickly, and how he beat out several hungry hins to win the pie-eating contest. Others giggle how a young mother, Ragnhild, fought her way to the top in the boxing match. General consensus is that folks had a good time and are looking forward to the next festival.

Rumours of the smallfolk festival in the Silver Valley appear to be true. Smallfolk pass through town and head to the valley looking for available inn rooms and camping sites. The festivities are planned to begin within the tenday.
((Scheduled for 2pm Eastern this Saturday))

Uchi is seen telling the watch that it would be a good idea if this person is seen again they are to clean up there mess. But if they refuse they should be fine to pay for the cleaning of the chairs. Also any cloths that may have come incontact with the honey covered chairs.
-
Apparently someone went around in a cruel jest and smeared honey on almost every single chair in the Regal Whore Inn. Some may remember a tall and muscular redhead going around, the inn with a pot in her hand and a sticky finger. When asked about it, she calls the content of the pot a weapon and her actions warding the chairs from demonic theft. Or something along those lines. With a lot of ums and ers.

Townsfolk of Jiyyd have noticed lately the increased activity around the Silver Valley. Wagonloads of foodstuffs and barrels marked XXX have been more frequently making the trip north into the halfling village. Rumours eventually make their way south that preparations are being made for an upcoming smallfolk festival. Word quickly spreads that there will be contests of skill, prizes, travelling merchants, and plenty of fresh food and drink.
((Festival in the valley is this coming Saturday. More details to come.))
-
Those who visit Ormpur may notice a great deal of work being done around the small village. A couple new building are being constructed, along with a taller re-inforced wall, while many young men from the area seem to be in training to defend the place. Nicahh and Equinox are seen helping out quite a bit.
-
rumor has it a priestess of umberlee was heard uttering prayers and resurrecting the dead on the queens power, within jiyyd…
-
Rumour would have it that in the most recent attack of the Little Lady and her undead minions on the Long Road, some deranged elf chick was screaming at folk not to attack undead, because they are people too!
-
The sight of a pregnant pink haired bard is all too common in Jiyyd, and much rejoicing is had as the bard known as Lilly passes into the last month of her pregnancy. Some for the miracle of birth, some just tired of her grumbling and hoping to see her with a sunny disposition again.
//hoping to have the birth of sunday for any interested.

Rumours and stories tell of a massive army of extremely powerful hobgoblins overrunning the Nars pass. A handful of brave defenders managed to keep the first wave of these hobgoblins with unforeseen powers at bay but the second wave was just too much. At least four of the valiant heroes are said to have been cut down by the massive axes, huge ice storms and continuous lightning bolts of the highly trained hobgoblins. No one seems to know where these armies came from and who trained and equipped them.
-
Rumors spread of a terrifying group of bandits that occasionally make their camp near Ormpur. It seems a group of three women (one white, one black and one red haired) and one man tried to track them down. The women returned badly bruised without the man. According to them, they discovered only the mangled and abused bodies of the group's unfortunate victims. It seems they just missed the bandits and lost their track which led towards Jiyyd.

_There's rumors about jelly having invaded the pass, there's rumors about a mage gone crazy in the pass, just like magic there, and there's rumors about a demon being responsible for all that and there's rumors about Kara and some friends of hers stuck in a cave surrounded by spiders. It seems all of them involve a redhead and also a lot of blood, and legs.
There's also another story about a group of dogs that licked a cow and magically made the cow into a dog. It also involves the redhead and more dog-transformations. Most stories, though, seem to have a happy ending._

Countless Dwarves have been seen coming in and out of the legion halls with massive materials for building. When aproached or asked who they are one after the other insists they are Maythor's cousins from Troff mountain. What is being built nobody yet knows some rumors of Jail cells has been murmered….
-
Raryldor was seen being carried by the druid, Wolf. The druid was injured and Rary was dead. The druid had a blank expression as he simply explained vampires were the cause of it. Later, Rary was heard calling the druid a coward, and then stomped off.
-
_Large looking half-ork donned in Black Sail colors has seen entering the Jiiyd carrying a large sack and body of dark-blue haired dwarven lass. He headed straight to Vroka's house of healing, but very soon gets thrown out with curses: "Get that damn Umberlant away from our holy house"
Muttering something the half-ork heads outs, heading for crossroads with his heavy looking burden._

After taking measurements and recording them into a journal, Peppy is seen following the path she watched the dwarf take with Chaevre's body. She counts steps as she goes along, writing in her journal the entire way, and watching the ground.
-
The mage Khyrill has been asking after the location of Chaevre's body.
He explains that he wishes to verify her condition for himself, and that in Chaevre's absence he is responsible for Spellweaver Keep.
