Jiyyd Rumors

  • DM

In recent days, the Magistrate of Peltarch, Barrim was seen heading back from the direction of the swamp in the company of Equinox of Peltarch, as well as two helmeted archer ladies. They all looked to be covered in dust and walked with fatigue all of them resting for a long while before heading off on their separate ways, the small group dissipating as quickly as it was formed.

Barrim was seen to be in thoughtful, perhaps slightly troubled though satisfied mood as he walked back north accompanied by Equinox, bows in their hands.

  • As he catches word of the defeated Warmachine, he goes around Jiyyd asking around for those who were involved in its destruction.

// Please PM me, approach me IG or send a Tell. Thank you.

  • A man thought to be dead was seen in jiyyd recently, his clothes were nothing more than tattered rags and the look of sorrow and dispair in his eyes was unmistakeable.

    Vittorio.

  • Word spreads about a strange battle outside of Jiyyd that started when a minotar went running through town and stopped outside the field in front of the Sisterhood. The creature was seen speaking to itself about the Tenth Child and suddenly several gnolls appeared. Shortly after the creature defeated the gnolls, it spoke of another challenge and a war machine appeared, killing the creature then chasing several citizens around. The machine was fell with the aid of several people, yet near the battle sight a very small skin of either a child or halfling was found, leaving many to wonder what in the hells was going on.

  • Word spreads that some one called Slipshadow has a set of Elven War Braids for sale, all reasonable offered will be considered

((find me ic or send me a forum pm if interested))

  • _As the morning sun rises, the sound of soft weeping carries through the wooden floorboards and down into the lower floor. A short time later, A dishevaled looking Kara descends from the inn, though an attempt has been made to compose herself, the telltale reddened marks on her face suggests she has indeed been weeping.

Whatever appears to be the cause, it is clear she looks tormented._

  • Damian Colten will pledge his support for anyone who wishes to remove the undead from the land

  • Chaevre' stands in the depths of her tomb contemplating the fleeing Duergar and the new undead occupants of Mintas, knowing very well the secrets of the ancient city and the power it grants those who posess it, she spends hours hovering over a small black sphere staring withing, plucking the strings of the weave with very little effort, she begins to test the strength of Mintas' new inhabitants

  • Oreth sighs

Adorable, but the undead aren't leaving anyone alone.

One of the tyrran priests spoke of a champion of myrkul, some sort of…chosen ghoul. This knight may be its servant, or the chosen itself, and could therefore be connected directly to the source of all of these recent attacks.

    He looks around

If plans are to be made to deal with this creature and with the infestation in the ruins, the Circle will gladly aid in the effort.

If no plans are in the works…consider them to begin now. Anyone interested?

He waits around for a time, then wanders off, saying something noncomittal about looking for duergar

  • Kitty shrugs "It's just a big bunch of RUINS!! Not like anyone else wants them! I say let the undead KEEP them and leave them alone!!!"

  • Ragnhild tries to suppress a shudder at the mention of Mintas and the undead occupants there Uhm….I vhas going warn morr peepel than I have, but uhm....no like thinking about it much. I thought we be strong group vhen Nathander suggest we go there and investigate, but...vhen Knight khum we all end up running like headless chickens grumbles He tell us same as told Jerr, that Mintas be theirs and we to leave it alone. Nathander sai be an old evil that awaken, and that undead Knight nott the bigg boss…..huh...I hate imagine something that be even scarier than that one....

  • Jerr passes the word that Mintas has some new occupants who are driving out the Drow Dwarves (which is what Jerr calls the Duregar). They are undead and lead by a huge Knight who definitely has some power. The Knight claims Mintas is their by right of former ownership.

So watch for undead as well as displaced Drow Dwarves.

  • The word in the Whore is that some "Day of the dead" will be held within the camp soon.

  • Belade comments that she has met these "bandits of bad taste" before, and warns everyone to be cautious on the roads around Jiyyd.

  • *Eirien is seen grumping about Jiyyd over the next week or so. When spoken to she tells people of a very rude rober mage who wears purple clothes and looks like he must certainly follow Cyric, but the mage swears his robes are fuschia and he and his female companion have named themselves the "FUSCHIA BANDITS."

"A word to the wise. Do not tell the color blind bastard that his robes are pruple or he'll do to you what he did to me! All I can see is black and white and all the grey in the middle."

mutters and continues her search for a priest that can heal her

((this is an ooc warning for all of us that do not have the color override. The robes are fuschia. I had and ic consequence for an ooc issue, not haveing the override. If you run into the bandits and do not have the override do not mistake the color of their robes.))

  • Toxic mushrooms plagued the corn fields within Jiyyd. They were eliminated, yet with limited knowledge of its cause.

  • As merchants make their way southward, whispers over ale tell tale in the Regal Whore that the Divine Shield has come across an artifact some say is powerful enough to be the true Orb of Myrkul.

  • A sizeable party made a sudden appearance on the tower. As the group divided their loot and dispersed it became apparent that they had just escaped certain death in the goblin caves through a teleportation spell. The party included: Genzir, Dwin, Hedia, Penny, Theon, Z, Caldor, Celebring, and Raisa.

((Funfunfun, now to avoid narf to get caught back up on that paper… :x ))

  • After being threatened by Nicahh with death on the pass, for no reason than her own amusment. Damian Colten has revoked is offer to assist the sisterhood.

He has been heard to comment:
"Reminds me of that woman, Shemaright"

  • General Lyte of the Legion relates the story of a strange ghostly figure that appeared to be the noble Paladin Amana Cold appearing to her briefly only a few days ago deep in the kuo-toa caverns.

She relates he spoke of telling "the others" to "remaining watchful" and she solemnly relates many of the great deeds she witnessed from the man and the selfless devotion to good that Amana Cold lived by during his short but noble life.
