Jiyyd Rumors
-
Parties of legion soldiers clad in workclothes are seen west of Jiyyd, cleaning up the now quiet battlefield. Broken weapons are picked up, debris carried away.
It's a big job, as the war lasted many months, and there is much to do.
-
Frost giants still menace the ruins of Ormpur, as reported by a handful of adventurers returning from the east. Their hasty retreat to Jiyyd also seemed to stir up the wolf population somewhat, nearly killing the elven scout known as Thorn.
-
_Zoma was last seen leaving Jiyyd in a caravan with a hooded woman heading out to the crossroad, and then northwards.
It seems to be the last time anyone has seen Zoma again, the reason for his leaving from Narfell forever unknown._
-
With the war now over, the orcs defeated and their fortress sacked, the Chessentan Sentinels leave the region, one of them activating the portal in the Ridge and the whole group moving trough, taking their equipment with them. It seems that the three carts loaded with a special weapon remained unused, though this does not seem to bother any of them. Apparantly it is an expensive thing to use.
-
Word spreads that the orcs exhausted most of their resources during the battle in Jiyyd. A few days later word is heard a group led by Major General Grag of the Legion entered the orc fortress without meeting much resistance. A few hours later a large cloud of smoke was seen rising from the fortress as the group returned to Jiyyd. One of the Legionaires was seen carrying the body of a woman as he entered town.

*After the orc and giant attack, KULL can be seen very wounded and tired but still with strenth enough to place some wood to repair the now completly destroyed gates of the front.
He seems sad for the brave friends that participated in the battle and that payed the ultimate price to keep Jyiid safe from harm.
When asked about who were the brave warriors that defended Jyiid, he simple says:
" da ones wuuu fell in battle, dem iz da heroes. "Among manny of the ones that bravely fell fighting the combined force of Orcs and Giants, Private Horg, Briar and Rhystin remain in KULL´s thoughts and prayers for their courage and bravery*
///  Thank you Nilla (and any other DM that participated) for a great event!! The way it all happend was howsome, the tension filled the air when the Darkness fade away and both sides of the armys started to blaim eachother for braking the duel, the acusations, the magic missiles and ray of frost casted against Jyiid defenders really spiced thigs up and started the fire!! Whas great !!! Thank you ALL both PC´s and DM´s for a great event
KULL (Half Orc Barbarian, Training Officer and Major in the Legion)
“To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women!”

General Grag went to meet with the orc chieftain outside of the fortress. Apparantly a duel followed, with darkness covering both Grag and the orc champion just as Grag prepared to strike the killing blow. The orcs than staged a massive assault on the Jiyyd line, with several giants still joining the fighting. Many died, but the defenders stubbornly refused to be pushed back into Jiyyd, though there were a few desperate moments, and the after a full day of fighting, the waves of orcs and giants died down. However, it was soon revealed the orcs had in the meantime managed to break trough the lid of the well, and were coming up in the middle of the town. This attack was swiftly repelled, as was a sneaky mage who went around disarming people and kegging buildings. The battle had finally ended.

Cyrian has been seen in town recently, though the sight of something has seemed to make him forget himself, something from his past? something from his dreams? perhaps from another life, in any case he hasnt acted this . . . strangely, in a very long time.

Albryanna watches with curiousity as the fire giants fight side-by-side with the hin folk, wondering why they have taken such actions.
-
People are talking about the recent fire giants standing amungst the "Little people" Giving and recieving orders and helping lead a charge into the orcs and Frost giants front lines. It was heard they fought bravely yelling tempus' name in battle and pushing the orcs all the way back to the windy plains before having to fall back….
-
As the dragon was slain, many stood and watched the fallen beast for a moment, before ripping into it's corpse. It is said even a fire giant named Grax travelled up the mountain with the group and stood side by side with Grag, cleaving a bloody path to the peak
-
_Non of the Sentinels were present when Sharn was slain.
But apparantly, they managed to fling a rock into Norwick and crush one of the bugbear elites.
It was a good day for Sentinelhood._
-
It is also noted as well that members from the Sisterhood and the Guardians had given their aide in this expedition despite their much more modest numbers and presence.
-
Its noted that many different organizations helped out, including four from the Cerluean Knights and three from the Bardic College of Narfell. Some say it proved to be one of the first times the many groups spanning Narfell worked well together
-
Sharn is dead, the severed and toothless head catapulted into the orc lines by jubilant dwarves. The Legion, Spellweaver and the Order of the Phoenix all united in a brutal spearpoint punching through the forces of orcs and giants arrayed in the Coldstone foothills before assaulting the higher peaks and slaying many of the Frost Giant command.
After heavy fighting and some regrettable but light casualties, the heroes returned ferried in the claws of a Red dragon. Understandably, morale is much higher amongst the defenders.
((Thanks to Nilla, Andelas, Scutum and Coann for DMing and the many many players that slogged through the mammoth and rather tense expedition))

_Aelthas has been seen walking around Jiyyd now, he moves slowly and keeps to himself most times, only giving small nods to anyone he sees.
He usually sits under one of the trees for awhile, reading a book quietly. He glances up at any sudden movements, his eyes, one green, one black, scanning the area slowly before returning to his book._

A group of Sheshae elves followed a rotting smell into Jiyyd, finding a number of baby heads sans eyes in the trash. They headed off towards the swamp, lead by a bloodhound by the name of Yaervan, finding another trash bin filled with dead and chopped children on the way. Joined by a few others, the group entered the swamp, and after many hours arrived back in Jiyyd, looking tired and disturbed. Yaervan wasn't with them though. Apparantly he was "taken by the fires."

Jeremy has been seen at the warfront constantly now, fighting in any battle or skirmish he can. When asked about his strange behaviour in protecting places he dosen't even care about, he simply responds with "It's like the good ol' days aye."
