Jiyyd Rumors
-
_Genzir is seen asking about what is needed in Ormpur. One who followed the conversations closely would pick up that he and the banned wizard Ezachiel were planning to use their magic to deliver supplies of food and warm clothing to the holdouts.
Anyone who makes it into Ormpur itself will notice some extra bags of blankets and warm clothes, and boxes of food on the floor of the Fuzzy Ale Inn._
-
General Lyte can be seen setting up a donation box at the intersection near the inn and general merchants shop in Jiyyd. She explains that while many Ormpurians are being evacuated from Ormpur due to the cold, many are still there, and some are electing to not abandon their homes, even though supplies are low.
The side of the box reads
_"Donations of food and warm clothes for Ormpur are appreciated. These will be delivered to those citizens of Ormpur who elect to remain behind as we continue to evacuate it's other citizens.
Thank you for your good wishes and aid.
-The Troff Legion"_

_A large group of adventurers were sighted travelling out to East to Orhmpur. Their conversation overheard by the locals revealed their intetions that they were to survey the damages of cold winter and giant raids Orhmpur had been suffering from for some time and to deliver any forms of aide they could as well.
Days later, they returned with most of them wearing a somber expression still but a resolved one nonetheless. It was heard that they will return to Orhmpur again after proper preparations to escort some Orhmpurians to safety out to Orhmpur and aide them in seeking refuge elsewhere._

@81fde2efa2:
the chancellor of norwick arrives in town with a host of armed norwick guard. They make their way to the legion barracks where he asks for an audiance, and is (hopefully) allowed into the hall to speak. The guards wait outside for his return
the chancellor is seen leaving jiyyd a few hours later flanked by his guardsmen, grag and a host of legion officers. The two parties march side by side though town then out the gate in the direction of norwick. No one appears to be harmed, and all seem to be following willingly.
-
Genzir, hearing about these events, stands guard with the other Legionnaires. He summons a large hawk, which carries a note westwards.
I have informed the Keep of the attacks. Apart from defending the Sisterhood home, you might find our services especially helpful in the event that you need to evacuate children in a hurry. Please feel free to call on us. I myself could teleport at least half a dozen children to a safe place if there is a real emergency. The odds of a mishap are extremely low and this could be a lot safer than evacuating them when drow are around.
-
KULL can bee seen just out side the Sisterhood, standing guard making sure theres no more Drow attack and if eventually so happends he´s there to help in any way he can

“To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women!”

General Grag is also seen welcoming any and all needing aid and pasing out warm blankets to any in need by Vrokas….
Also a few legion can now be seen on guard outside the sisterhood when night time approaches....
-
_Rumors spread of families from Ormpur seen rushing into Jiyyd. Seems the once strangely warm village has been struck with a crippling cold, killing all the crops and livestock in the area. Several families, mostly those with young children, were seen heading to the Healing Wonders, begging Vroka for healing against the frost bite that many of them suffer with.
It is rumored a kind hearted half orc, by the name of Thuggrim, had worked out a deal with the Jiyyd inn keeper, to allow temporary housing for those families that fear returning to Ormpur until the snow storm has blown over._
-
RUmors spread that general grag is wanted for murder…. of ... A ... Badger.... by Norwick. no one seems to care much though as drow seem to be attacking more regularly outside the sisterhood. It is said a bat was seen trying to kiss Jerr when it failed and went splat into the sisterhood door it left behind a note reading "YOur building will burn and all inside will perish"
-
a young pigtailed hin, upon seeing Lucid and his entourage, is heard to exclaim….
Oooo! We's bein attacked by Norwick! Ta arms, ta arms! They wanna take ova tha town!
We gotta drive out tha foreign invadas!

(( ooc, I'm stuck at work, but this is what lucid would do right away. Consider lucid in talks with grag/legion members or at least looking for them until I get a chance to hop ig tonight. ))

Tension outside the Sisterhood
Some sort of a fight between Jerr and Keira? Or was it a fight between Jerr and a couple of paladins accusing him of alliance with the Yuan Ti. Drow were also sneaking in the night, spreading lies and misinformation with their dark agent. A darkly-clad woman bearing a flaming staff was assaulted at the gates of Jiyyd after attacking a friend of Jerr's and refusing to remove her hood and identify herself.
Or maybe Keira's just attacking people again. She has seemed a lot more tense and angry recently.
-
Rumors spread throughout Jiyyd that Sir Trent Blake was seen approaching Nicahh at the Sisterhood, requesting use of their storage shed as a temporary outpost near the long road until a permenant one can be constructed. Several Helmite soldiers are seen moving from the storage building, to the long road, and on out towards the orc fields throughout the days that follow.
-
It appears that a young man by the odd-sounding name of "Zero Starstrike" has been going around all the local establishments offering his services and begging them to give him a job. He seems persistent and charismatic, going around with a young red-headed girl at his side.

The blood of the ogres has been barely cleaned off the walls, as some posters are placed there. They advertise a

Rumor spread that Gonnar has died…again...and got raised in the city of Oscura. True or not, the fact is noone has seen him since last week, and noones knows if he'll ever be back.
-
Once again a great many terrible ogres poured from the well in Jiyyd and were beaten back in a fierce fight.
People wonder aloud what drives the creatures, and there are mumblings of a war between the gnolls and ogres in the icy caves, and rumors of the possibilities that the ogres may have been driven into the caves under Jiyyd in search of a new home.
-
Oddly, even though it was a child who was attacked, it was Jerr who paid Keira's fine and spent the day sitting outside her cell, until she was released.
-
When Livestock goes Bad!
A Rogue cow entered the village and terrorized the innocents by the fire. Pawing the ground and charging down a poor and grubby half-elf lad. Keira and the boy chased the cow out of the gates, beating it badly.
Oddly, a different boy that came searching for his cow was savagely beaten by Keira also. Maybe she is just bad. Certainly she was taken off to jail by Dalron for a while after he'd caught up with her.

_Without warning, a score of ogres boiled up out of the Jiyyd well in the afternoon. The quick action of a Legionnaire and of one Raver, of the Gypsy Camp, alerted the town and contained the ogres until help could arrive.
A brief expedition down the well found the gate locked and no new tunnels. Speculation is that the Ogre mage with the attackers opened the gate with magic.
What is causing the ogres to be more active, is unknown._
