Jiyyd Rumors
-
A band of paladins from Peltarch brought in three half-orc prisoners, including the infamous Ugluk Rumgut. They had tried to rob one of the paladins in the Pass. Genzir, William and Lilin were on hand and had a Legion cell prepared for the three bandits, who are now being held there.
The three bandits' hands were tied behind their backs with a length of sturdy rope, binding them all together in a train, before they were taken to the cells.

_*General Lyte is seen by many taking extreme measures to make sure legion colors are not visible on the orc plains during the past few weeks, and is heard yelling and gesturing to a legion patrol loudly near the West Gate in an uncharacteristic manner.
Legion soldiers at the town's gates are trebled, and the legion in general seems extremely active and on alert. Some legion parties are seen to be bringing in long deadwoog logs, stacking them near the Legion Hall. Legion people seem to be taking measurements of the hill near the Southgate, as if planning some architectural project.*_

Shane is being seen heading into the home of Vroka and Finnius. After thanking them for their help, and paying them for any costs that could still be uncalled for, she returns back to the Temple with Draihken's remains.

Several headless bodies were found lying to the side of the Long Road. There was a staked corpse next to them as well with a large wooden box set at the base of the stake. Rumors tell of a horrific find within the box itself… the intact skin of a human. Scrawled on the skin were Orcish words that some have said mentioned something about not being able to protect the citizens of Jiyyd from within the walls themselves. It is told that one hapless adventurer was later attacked in the Windy Plains, beaten unconcious and tossed over the south wall of Jiyyd, again with a message attached to her armor. Several brave adventurers headed into the Windy Plains to find the attacker and were met by an Orc Mage. A chase ensued and eventually ended with the Mage making its way thru the gates of the fortress where the adventurers promptly ended the pursuit. Angry and frustrated, the adventurers were seen making their way back into Jiyyd speaking of the Orc Mage in not-do-kind words.

_Whispers amongst the locals of demon sightings in the swamp of Jiyyd had created an atmosphere of uneasiness amongst the locals and the Watchmen.
Justene was sighted heading into the swamp when news from a group of adventurers who came from the swamp informed her of demonic presence in the area. After some time later, Justene was seen staggering out of the swamp in a near death state covered with severe wounds only to be saved by Hedia. Bodies of lemures were strewn across the mouth of the swamp from Justene's slayings.
Three adventurers consisting of Hedia, Elridith and Zoma volunteered for Justene to investigate in her stead while she went to report the Jiyyd Council.
Many hours later, the trio reappeared from the swamp in an injured state with one of them recognised as Zoma being dragged all the way to Vroka unconscious.
Some observers noticed there is a strange mark found on the insides of his palm before the three of them disappeared into the Healing Wonders in a concerning state._

_Rumour spreads troughout the town that the gondar priest Dentin, the young girl Genevieve and several others aided a gnomish master in completing a machine that allowed them to fly to the summit of a mountain to recover a lense of vital importance to the gnome artificer, a rumour apparantly supported by a number of medallions Dentin has been wearing proudly in the past days.
Dentin has been travelling to an area north of the Silver Valley for a few days since, returning in a surprisingly good mood and spending the night feasting with the common folk, though anyone who would not qualify as "common folk" is met with the same stoic, almost uncaring, demeanor._

_It is stated that an Orcish Mage came forth from the planes to the gates of Jiyyd. Heros, standing upon the wall, stood and watched…for some reason giving the evil creature the benifit of the doubt as far as diplomacy. Without much surprise, the Orc took advantage of the slow response and set the Jiyyd gates ablazed. This brought the defenders arms to bear, as the Orc shot forth a ball of crackling electricity and fled.
A group of adventurer's, comprising largely of the Divine Shield, took to the planes and slew a large orc force that was amassing in the hills.
No legion were reported to have been in the plains prior to the attack, however words that Krig Skullboil the Crafter Master was collecting the ears of the beasts some time earlier._

More rumors come in of another robbery just outside of Jiyyd. It appears two men were robbed at the same time. One did try to fight back, but to only come back into Jiyyd with electrical burns. It appears it was the black robed man that commited this crime.
-
Rumors are heard throughout Jiyyd that the former Banite was killed by a Dire-Bear while out on a patrol in the Mintas Forest, His patrol mates returned to jiyyd shortly after and brought him to Vroka in an effort to raise him from death, however it seemed his Soul unable or unwilling to return to the material Plane, perhaps maybe Draihken found a place were he could finally rest peacefully or perhaps something more foul has transpired
-
Rumors spread that a dwarf has returned from a long time at war. The priests in the dwarven temple are all excited and the word Kaxanar is heard now and then. The women of jiyyd start talking about this dwarf and a secret relationship with a elfprist long ago.
-
_There have been complaints of robberies throughout the long road and in Jiyyd itself. Travelers relate that a man wearing the blackest of robes used deception, trickery, or just threats to rob his victims.
There is one report that a man was robbed in the bat cave and the guards searched for the criminal, but couldnt come up with anything accept a vague description: He wears black robes and is human. His other physical features were not seen._

It seems that some dwarves have finished a project of sorts and a cunningly named floaty suit of armour was seen being taken on a field test. Some say its a great weapon, others believe it an automatic ale dispenser..who knows…well the dwarves of course.

There's a huge tale being retold quite often and full of enthusiasmn. It involves a huge and epic battle between Nicahh and a terribly old and evil entity that was in the process of taking over Norwick. It seems Nicahh had acquired various tools from her (male?) friends that allowed her to ward against all the foul attacks from the monster and defeat it in a battle that is rumored to have lasted three full days and nights. There's even the occasional mention of a halfling master thief who might have taken all the loot and escaped with it, or who might have supplied the essential weapon by stealing it right from under the eye-monster.

Lilly is seen once again walking around with her daughter, Serenity, in tow. Where the little girl has been these months few know, but Lilly has never seemed happier and the tension seems to have eased in her.
-
Draihken has been patrolling the Nars as of late aiding and escorting adventurers protecting them from any Hob-goblin ambushes
Draihken has also left word at the Regal Whore Inn that he is looking for anyone capable of forging weapons and armor and asks the barkeep to send any interested crafters to the Temple of Helm to talk about some items

Some people claim that a hin was seen riding through town on an umber hulk. He seemed to be used to riding by his relaxed manner as he glances around to the people in town. It is not known why he was riding, some think they have heard him talk about riding before and assume he was just bored. But no one seems to know for sure.

It is rumored that the Talosian that had been tormenting the local farmers and citizens of Jiyyd has fallen. Many locals seems to be praising some members of the Sisterhood for their efforts in defeating the man. Gifts of flowers, food, toys and wooden trinkets are seen laid outside the doors of the Sisterhood. Nicahh seems slightly uncomfortable with all the praise surrounding the event, and insist that without the help of the Helmite lady, Clara, and her accurate shootings, then they may not have been able to defeat the man. She often attepts, as politely as she can, to pawn the farmers onto Clara, telling her to tell what all happened before quietly slipping away.

_:: Rumor spreads that a wagon was found in the plains, burnt, it's drivers massacred, and anything of cargo taken. Tracks lead nowhere.
"Orcs…" is mumbled. ::_
