Vahseus Greycloak

this CN human hails from Thay where he lived as a Tharchion. In a indiscretion of his youth he lost an eye at the hands of an angry Zulkir for sneaking a peek at the Zulkir's book of spells. He never speaks of this and holds a certain distain for the Zulkir who did it.

Vahseus continued to show signs of a problem with authority and in effort to ease tentions he was asked to travel west and not return unless he could master the arcane knowlege demanded by the Thayan socioty.

In a twist of irony he finds himself calling Norwick home. A town rich with laws and opression against trade. He let his hair grow out to conceal his tattoos and keeps his past private. He uses politeness, a virtue of Thayans, to keep this secret all the while scheming of a ways to bring Thayan trade to Norwick.

Vahseus shows promise for the arcane arts but still lacks knowlege and disciplin. He hopes to one day return to Thay powerful enough to exact his revenge and hold a place of power and respect in the socioty. He thinks that by opening up Thayan trade to the western lands he can achieve this.
