_I was inspired to write this piece some time in mid-autumn. Leaves, as they danced, falling from an oak caught my eye. I tried to capture their flight here, but I'm not so sure the message is correctly conveyed. The Waltz of Drifting Leaves was composed for harpsichord and strings.
This piece is a deep shade of reddish-brown in my mind. Perhaps a bit sad, as most of my earlier works were. Autumn and winter, however, are indeed sad seasons. Perhaps music reflecting those times should elicit this feeling._

_It has been quite some time since I have given my adoring fans any new melodies to enjoy. This shall not do. I've been experimenting with various progressions and key changes - along with major and minor exchanges. While this does not alter the melodies which many are used to, it provides a deal more variety and movement to the music.
The first piece follows Waltz of the Drifting Leaves in the feelings it evokes - it has, perhaps, more of a wintery feel._
The second piece was inspired by a group of my tavern-going friends in Waterdeep. It's not quite as harsh the chanty you'd be used to hearing in the Peltarch Docks taverns, but it is of the sort, nonetheless.

After having spoken with my brother about the current state of Peltarch's elections I have commisioned myself to write a fanfare for candidate Sir Mariston Thel. Perhaps this will once bring a smile to father's face. Hopefully this will not only gain him a bit more publicity when used in his next rally, but will gain my work prestige as well.

For once I have decided to settle on something a bit more traditional. This piece is in the style of classical chamber music, using only wind instruments. Though I believe it shall remain nameless, such a composition is a staple of the composer's repetoire, as it shows his mastery of the foundation styles before he moves on to his own. I can only hope I've captured that here.

_Since the first time I ever heard music, it has been my dream to compose a piece to match the utter majesty of Peltarch. Though I feel this piece falls too far short to name it as such, or even dedicate it as such, I feel this piece has some driving elements and is a stepping stone upon my path to reach such majesty.
Brass in six-eight compound rhythm has always been one of my favorite tools in musical excitement. Though the range is somewhat difficult for even the most skilled performers, I believe this piece shall be a treat._

_After being given a book entitled "Thundercallers Chants" by Fadien Blackwood of the Romani Camp, I have been inspired by the people of the Nars. My first piece shall be a reflection of their history, as I have researched at the Spellweaver Keep's library. It is fairly brief, however, as the emotion to express their sorrow is not a very complicated one. Perhaps, in time, I shall make use of the chants themselves and write a vocal piece.
Here I have the manuscript for the Journey of the Narsfolk. Primarily a string and wood-flute piece, I have added some percussion to better reflect the tribal nature of the group._
