Gypsy Camp Forum Description Change

This may be a dumb question because I can't possibly read all the posts on the forum, but the description has changed to say the Gypsies settled there 30 years ago. But the current event surrounding the Gypsy Camp involves a book that says they have been there for over 1000 years. Am I missing something?

The gypsies are all baby immortals. They laugh and sing and joke for centuries, all the while pretending to be a "roving band". Soon they will precipitate a mass cataclysmic event that will wipe clean the surface of narfell so that new settlers can arrive and the gypsies can, once discovered by the new inhavitants, pretend once again that they've just arrived and are setting up a temporary camp.

The 1000 year thing is something that only Romani and a few gali would know about. If you note where that info was given in the Gypsy Camp Background thread… you will see that it is for Camp Members only. Additionally... any IG and IC clues that are given should probably not be announced in the forums... it precipitates metagaming that information.
Outsiders will only have seen the Romani come into the area 30 years ago. Hope that helps clear things up.
