Shattered

  • It is no secret by now that Juniper's heart and spirit lay not just broken, but shattered. The pillar she had come to rely on for the emotional and mental resilience to pull through the worst her cursed condition could throw at her was kicked out from under her. With the kindness and aid of a couple friends and her family, she has maintained a modicum of functionality. Steadfastly refusing to return to Silverymoon again for another extended period of recovery or to take her only Walker Mix potion. A potion for astral projection that quite possibly would offer the only potent succor she might find anytime soon.

Barely find anything coherent words for you only a select few people, the best her aunt can get out Juniper is that 'Mojo wishes to save it, in case she really needs it sometime' Cherry can’t quite convince her that now is that time.

Then as if Cormac's cursed nature had rubbed off on Juniper, she woke up vomiting her guts out the other morning. Rather than dragging Juniper to the temple in Peltarch, Cherry messaged a family friend to visit from Silverymoon, and conduct the necessary divinations. They revealed one final unintentional and cruelly timed gift to constantly remind her. Juniper was pregnant with one last full sibling for her three previous children.

And so it is… she mothers an ancient sword that reportedly started trying to speak to her not so long ago, while being a mother-to-be one more time.

  • The longest toughest year Juniper can remember.... maybe since before she ever first set foot in Narfell for the first time. With that year rolling behind her, things are finally... FINALLY bringing about a new life and a new start.

Receiving a generous stipend for the good of the children from Cormac and her own savings, Juniper went about securing one of Silverymoon's residential's trees for herself and her family. The trees are the elven contribution to Silverymoon's eclectic architectural style. The residential trees are large enough to be transformed into spacious homes.

It took her family pulling in favors and reminding the powers that be in Silverymoon of her family's generations o service to the city, but she got permission to build a a portal within her home to Narfell. Normally, the Wards of Silverymoon magically prevent any kind of portal from being created within the city, so the exception was needed so that the proper runes could be installed to make a portal even possible. .

Just recently her uncle and older brothers, all mages of no small power, finished work on the portal and activated it, linking her tree home with the Romani Pass in Narfell her family still had a camp in. And this was just in time for her fourth child to be born in Silverymoon. The fourth childd by Cormac, a son she named Aramuil, after her uncle and Aunt Cherry's husband. No longer was he a constant reminder of what she had lost. Little Aramuil was now a symbol of the good things that grown out of it. Life was starting to look up again. Once more she often wore an easy smile, and carried a sparkle in her violet eyes.
