The Mysteries of Marigold

The Mysteries of Marigold Vale
With a wrong turn, out of the blue
A sudden whim, for you to cater -
A new idea, to break on through,
and an urge, at every achreSavor strange and novel fictions,
Pay no heed to contradictions,
For it's always autumn,
the summer never ends,
and from top to bottom,
quiet loudly reignsWhere there's nothing to kill, but time
reason gives way to rhyme
the particular is ordinary,
and authors lack authorityWander peripheral wonder,
sing an unsung number,
grin a grin along the fringe,
for peculiarity unfolds,
with stories strange as can be told.Dare to attend, alone or with friends,
and explore Mysteries, at Marigold--
Tourist brochures, recited poems, and musical jaunty can be found and heard every now and again in Kront and its outskirts, about a strange forest hiding an even stranger vale. Doubters call it a hoax or a prank. Some swear by its truth. "Marigold," so it's called - enchanted woods, and then some yet. Those thus far who dare try to find it find themselves only lost. Some say they cannot even find the forest, let alone the vale. What, where and why is Marigold, if it even exists?

Windy Woodlands
And so it comes into view,
something bold, something new. What is there to show,
past the wild things that grow,
up and down, or
where down is up,
and up is down,
it can be a bend,
just to get around? For the wind blows,
and it will, far away;
after a venture,
past that which glows,
under, and bound,
around and around,
all week, month, and year.Oh, it can blow, that is, until,
that which'll make the winds still,
in the caverns, oh the caverns,
so far, yet so near.--
Somewhere in Marigold, a new passage is open - into the Windy Woodlands. Ridges twist and turn, and moody gusts about - that is, unless, one looks the right way, in the right place. Newcomers to the vale have yet to walk these paths. Something hidden can be found, past temperamental gales. But what?
