Poached Deer

Deer have been found dead and possibly rotting with only their antlers chopped off. The cause of death is clearly attempted precision strikes to the neck area by an extremely sharp blade with little struggle. A few of which dying instantly in a spectacular spray of blood that lead only a meter give-or-take from where they were slain. The corpses are mostly found near the town of Norwick not so deep into the Rawlins every few days. A similar death was discovered outside of West Peltarch with a sizable chunk of meat excised from its shoulder and bit into several times by a humanoid, as well as the signature chopped off antlers. Who could be responsible for these senseless, heinous mutilations and crimes against nature and will they ever be stopped.
