    Zook was born to a loving family, who's home was cleverly hidden within a smull dugout, far from Norwick. Zook's father, Gimble, was constantly working away at new inventions. All remember the infamous Watchamacallit that was ment to polish gems, but instead ended up devouring Zook's younger brother. Days were relaxed, and quite, and their home was close enough to the city that they could make daily trips. Gimble, Zook's father, always steered him in the path of becoming an engineer, but Zook had other plans. He dreamed of becoming a great magician, battling mighty dragons, slaying hordes of ogres, and making it home in time of dinner. Naturally, Zook's parents worried about him. When Zook become old enough, he bid his farewells to his family and set off to become a great wizard, to the horror of his father. Never venturing much futher then his dugout, there was much to learn. Heading towards the nearest city, Zook began hes quest for magic.

    He soon became a apprentice to an unsually tough cruel master, who worked Zook mornings and nights. Days and weeks passed without Zook even having the privalige to leave the confines of his spell books. After finding a spell that would increase the growth of a creature greatly, Zook decided it was time he master lightened up. He began thinking of a good prank. Sneaking out while his master was taking a nap, Zook caught a rabbit, snuck into his masters room and cast the spell. The rabbit grew larger and larger, filling the enitre room. Zook panicked and backed out of the room, he wasn't ready for a spell as powerfull of this one, he coulden't stop it now. The entire room was soon filled with the giant rabbit. Not sure what to do, he started pulling the the giant rabbits tail trying to pull it out of the room. His masters muffled curses could be heard coming from inside the room. After the rabbit had been removed, Zooks master kicked Zook out on the streets. Armed with only a few basic spells, Zook was not about to give up so easily. He started doing street magic around town, earning coins here and there.

    A few years passed, and Zook moved from town to town preforming magic to earn a living. His powers were becoming more finnaly tuned, and his popularity rising. Perhaps this was his true calling. His next stop, Norwick. What adventures await the little traveling magician? Only time will tell.
