Sabrink Stoneborn

    Character: Sabrink Stoneborn

If Sabrink could be summed up in one word it would be routine. He would stick to his small corner of Aura Runedar and study the same few rune books over and over again. He would only leave once a week to visit the Tuck Me Inn for a supply of ale, rothe cheese, and of course Disin's famous eggs. It is safe to say few dwarfs knew his name except for Koirin.

This would all change the night of the hold attack. Awoken in the middle of the night to the sound of axes clanging and a boulders crumbling. He peered out the window to see the horror of his beloved home attacked. He hesitated for a while not entirely sure what he would do. This changed when he saw a large boulder from the ceiling fall close to a group of young dwarfs.

He runs to the door and begins casting runes of invisibility and haste, though with little combat experience, his arcane powers quickly runs out. He makes his way to the front of the hold and into the town of Norwick. A bit ashamed of his lack of power, he forgoes the refugee camps and rents a second story room in a farm house on the outskirts of town.

Routine began again for Sabrink as he now studied in his new apartment with week walks to the Grapevine Inn. And life would of continued this way if it wasn't for a dwarf named Labur. Labur sought out Sabrink to assist him with an Odd Runestone of draconic origins that is said to be a key to long lost Orcbane artifacts.

After weeks of meeting with Labur, Sabrink began to find a purpose besides studying. Overtime, he began to have a new routine, that of adventuring and learning all he could about runes and clues that could unlock dwarven artifacts he's spent years reading about.
