    The shieldmaiden Aruhan, of the Shieldmaidens tradehouse wishes to make it known that she intends to hold an auction for her recently acquired rapier that quite a few bards in the city have been discussing of late.

    The auction shall be performed as a silent option, where bids will be written on parchment and all who wish to participate will be given one chance to bid.

    Starting bids will begin at 20,000 gold. Bids may be "enhanced" with other items to be traded or offers of services.

    Any unable to attend on the day of the auction, may nominate a proxy to bid on their behalf.

    The auction will occur in roughly 6 months to allow people time to collect their things and muster what a competitive bid.

    ((OOC Note: The event at this stage is tentatively planned for the 30th of January at 11:00 AM JST / 02:00 GMT / 29th of January 18:00 PST / 21:00 EST (Time may change +/- an hour based on whether this time works for DM Rust). If you wish to attend please reply to this post. If you are unable to attend in person, but your character will nominate a proxy, also reply here but give the proxy character name. Additional Information: 6 Months is meaning 6 months in-game time, AKA functionally 2 weeks RL))
