Man found Dead near the farms

A man is found dead behind one of the farmhouses early in the morning by the farmhouse residents. His pockets appeared to have been rummaged through and emptied and he had nothing on him. His head was completely bashed in leaving nothing but mushy skull and brains.
The traumatized residents of the house have no idea how or when it happened, only that it was during the night.
