  • i quit because refusing me to be a dm because of buddhism & religions was too intolerant in my book.

    but it was mostly ego trick, i don't care to be dm very much.

    dm-ing is hard work & lot of effort, it ruins my life.

    i prefer to not be dm, anyway.

    it was my self-destructive ego that made me apply for that.

    no problem, i don't have to be dm, i don't want.

    Indeed it's too out of character to include non - d&d ideas in game.

    But to a lesser degree, some ideas can be included anyway, with gentler words.

    There's kara-tur & monks in d&d anyway, for example.


  • There's nothing wrong with Buddhism and religion. Narfell is welcoming of them OOC and IRL.

    But in character, for the sake of staying in character, it's best to reference only Forgotten Realms' religions.

  • Narfell supports all FR religions. These forums however, as stated in the rules, are not the place to express one faith or another, or one's political views. There is no intolerance here, simply a failure to observe our longstanding rules.
