Kilig Elhokar

  • PC: Kilig Elhokar
    ID: Hydra

(Going to make this a brief one as this character is young and seeking adventure.)

Killig is a young man in his early twenties. He's a farm boy from Cormyr who grew tired of the farmer's life. As a boy, his primary responsibility was tending the sheep and other livestock. This gave him some small skill and confidence with the quarterstaff and spear from the many years of fighting off the occasional coyote and angry badger.

Too inexperienced to be accepted into an adventuring band and not wealthy or connected enough to acquire an official charter, Kilig joined the crew of a small shipping vessel called the "Sister's Plight" as a deck hand.

It was on the Sister's Plight that Kilig met a monk returning to the Monastery of the Yellow Rose. The monk saw promise in the young man and began to instruct Kilig in the spiritual and martial ways of the Yellow Rose. Not a great student, Kilig struggled to master any hand to hand skills, but showed a blooming proficiency with the quarterstaff.

The Sister's Plight was set upon by pirates as it sailed the Sea of Stars. The ship was scuttled in the fight and Kilig managed to barely escape with his life.

Kilig washed ashore not far from the lands of Narfell. He signed on with a caravan that eventually brought him to Peltarch. Low on funds and tired of loading goods for greedy merchants, Kilig decided to stay on in Peltarch to search for work or adventure.

General Desc: Farmer strong, well-tanned, eager to improve his martial skills. Friendly and polite, though shy and introverted due to his many years spending more time with sheep than people. Prone to daydreaming. Often practices the meditative and focusing skills taught to him by his monk friend.

General Goal: To let his experiences in Narfell shape his character rather than the other way around.
