Massive Battle in the Coldstones!

Word of a long and epic fight filter westward from the Coldstone mountains. The very nature of them makes it difficult to distinguish whether they're fact or fiction!
It seems that known local adventurers Raryldor Siamytherelin, Alvaniel Danicen, Arnie Arnesen, and Roslyn Underhill took a trip to the Coldstone mountains in the company of two nigh-legendary adventurers of days past: Ginger B Tealeaf and Maythor B Troff! But surely the rumors of Tealeafs and Troffs returning to Narfell after years of absence can't be true…can they?
And what of this battle they supposedly fought? Rumors mention something about walking trees, strange women made of ice, and transforming goblins, and those are the most tame ones! Others speak of the felling of a sacred tree, or the finding of some vast hoard of gems. And still others speak of the party facing down a small army of giants!
It all sounds like some pulpy adventure story, more than reality. It simply can't be true...right?
