Aiding the Refugees

Ginger is seen dropping off several bundles of cooked, seasoned cuts of meat for the refugees. She also spends her time clearing part of the forest with the woodcutters.

Having gotten a large load of cherry wood from the i-kid-you-not Lost City with Ginger and Ros and El that Ginger said was going to be used at the camp, Leena shows up again and blesses crops, heals the sick and wounded by magic as well as a great deal of mundane skill, and generally helps out where she can.
Every little bit helps!

Atel has been seen around the refugee camp much lately doing what she does best. Not being that good of a hunter, she has been healing sore muscles for the working men, playing with the children, and playing her flute for the enjoyment of any who would listen. Occasionally, she’ll pick up an axe herself and help the men clear the forest.

Ros Underhill has left word with Drem Janger that she will be in the field for several tendays scouting for any sources of building materials, or other resources that may aid the refugees. While she anticipates no undue danger, she does request that a scouting party be sent into the Rawlins after her if she has not returned within a month.

Sergeant Alvi can be seen dropping off more then four boxes worth of rations, fresh meat and fish for the refugees.

Ros and Ginger showed up just recently, bearing a positively obscene amount of food. Certainly enough to keep the refugees (and any new arrivals from recent HDL activities) fed for a good while yet!

Roslyn has evidently made another supply run. This time, she met with general Theaon shortly afterwards, and it seems as though plans are being made to try and revitalize the long inactive Halfling Defense League.
How they intend to accomplish this is unclear, however.

Ginger and Z are seen dropping off a cartload of fresh food for the smallfolk refugees. They stay for a bit to visit, then head south through the Nars Pass.

Word goes out that all right-sized folk and those willing to help the refugees are asked to meet at the refugee camp on the Long Road. A resource gathering trip will be conducted for the purpose of eventually establishing a new Silver Valley.
((Planning on doing this at 8pm EDT, which is about 5 hrs from the time of this post. That might be too short of notice for some, but we'll see who shows up.))

Drem publicly thanks Roslyn for everything she's done the past few months. The halfling refugees are sleeping in fixed tents, they are eating good food, and they are drinking fresh water. She claims that the wyvern pelts that Roslyn recently brought are so large and plentiful that she will even have some extra to cut, sew, and embroider into a gift to thank Roslyn for all of her efforts.
She tells Roslyn to come back in a few days.

True to her word, Ros arrived a few days later with a load of food for the refugees. She stayed a while and spoke with Drem, then headed off north.

After running critically low on funds for a time, Roslyn leaves word with the refugees that she will be making a delivery of food within the coming days!

Though she seems quite busy of late, Roslyn has still found time to bring her customary monthly shipment of food down to the refugees with the help of Alvaniel. The hin looks tired, though. As if she's been working hard at something that she's lost a tremendous amount of sleep over lately!

Following this month's delivery of food, Roslyn is seen speaking at length with General Theaon of the Legion. The tone of the conversation appears to be friendly, and the talk lasts for almost a full night.

Another month, another shipment of rations: this time twice what Roslyn usually brings, thanks to the help (and strong back!) of Lunia Touve! The pair remained in the refugee camp for a while and had a pleasant chat with Drem, before moving on.

Roslyn returns again with more food, this time alone. However, with this shipment she also brings ale! She stays for a few moments to talk with the refugees and any others who may be present, and then departs once again.

While at the refugee camp, Theaon thanks the two for their kindness in helping the Silver Valley refugees in troubling times.
