Character Customisation


  • **1. Clothing and Armour
    At Vanity Plates in Peltarch you can change the style and colour of your clothing and armour, for a fee. Instructions are up inside of Vanity Plates.

    • You can't change the armour class of your torso
    • You can't change the design of a crafted metal masterwork helmet
    • The multicoloured glowing helmet isn't available to pick
    • Fee is 10% of normal when you're adjusting 1gp clothing

    **2. Weapons and Shields
    At Dark Hammers in Oscura you can change the style and colour of your weapons and shield. The transparent shield type isn't available.

    **3. Containers
    Using the Cipher Wheel along with a piece of small leather you can create labels that allow you to change the names of your bags and boxes. The service is available in Peltarch Trade Hall and the (private) Crafters Union Guild Hall.

    **4. Item Renames and Description Changes
    DMs can rename items and edit their descriptions for you in game. This is entirely at their discretion. Sent a polite request to the DM channel and if they have the time/inclination to help out they'll respond. Keep it sensible, and short; there's a character limit to this method.

    **5. Item Reskins
    This will cost you at least one thousand gold and possibly much more. It takes up DM time outside of the game and whether a particular DM is willing to do any of these at all is entirely at their own discretion.

    A reskin allows you to change everything about the item except its properties; name, description, style, and colours. But keep it sensible, and please only use this approach when it's for something you can't physically accomplish via in-game methods.

    To request a reskin, message a DM in game or by PM or email NarfellStaff@gmail.com. Please don't assume that the request will be successful.

    **6. Everything Else
    It's possible to change phenotype/skin colour/hair style etc for you in game using custom Narfell DM Tools. It's still something which should be noted so message NarfellStaff@gmail.com or PM a DM with your request for them to post it up. Please explain the reason for the request.

    Leto is a third party program that is used to alter character files via direct access to the server vault. Voice sets and a character's examine description text can be changed through Leto. Kuker processes all Leto requests. Send a forum PM to Kuker being very specific about what you are hoping to change. Include your NWN login and the character name. If you have PCs with similar names provide additional information to he knows which version is current.************
