More activity along the Pass

While the pass seems a busy stretch of late, keen eyes might spot signs of a recent struggle near the crossroads approaching the popular Rats and Bats restaurant. A small area near the path is trampled down and generously doused with blood, a smeared trail leading west and disappearing into the nearby cave mouth. Probably just some wild animal..

And even more. A lone figure, a woman is occasionally seen entering and exiting the Rats and Bats restaurant. While the woman doesn't buy anything but a glass of water once in a while and always sits on the same spot by the water, those who have spotted her might have seen her tipping the workers every time she visits before she sets off, wherever it is she might be going.

More activity along the Pass. Beorn Battlemail and several other dwarves have been hauling large quantities of stone from the Hold and setting it by Sam's Hole. Signs of construction have started to show and the Rats and Bats restaurant is seeing an increase in business as thirsty dwarves fill the cave to eat, drink and sing every night after a hard days work.
Narrowing their eyes in suspicion at any passerby, the dwarves offer no information as to what they are up to.
