    Valuldur was born on the island of Evermeet, like many other sun elves before him. His parents, both arcanists of considerable talent, quickly noticed Valuldur's amazing ability of learning, he learned to speak, read and write at a very young age. Both the parents wanted for him to study magic, and who knows, maybe even become a high mage. Valuldur on the other hand was not interested in magic, which he thinks, is one of the dullest and most uninteresting things to study.
    One day after reluctantly reading trough a book about divination and it's many uses he went to the cellar of his home to fetch some juice. When there he noticed a mousetrap - a simple yet, in his mind, an ingenous construction. He examined the trap and that was when his interest of traps sparked. He began by disembling and resembling mousetraps and soon moved into constructing traps of his own and soon told his parents that he had found his true calling, traps - the art of traps, and was going to give up studying magic. His parents weren't thrilled by Valuldur's talents 'going to waste' and tried to talk some sense into the young elf, but it was no good, Valuldur loved traps more than anything.
    When he came of age he decided to leave Evermeet and explore the world.. and its different traps. He said goodbye to his parents and began his journey with nothing more than a few coins, a finely crafted longbow, a sword and a very openminded attitude as far as as sun elves are considered. plus his trapspringing tools.
    He travelled all over Toril, staying a bit longer in Anauroch where he learnt the bedine language and made a few bedine friends there.. but alas his friends were human and quickly died. Devasteded by the loss he began eating for comfort and developed a build very unsual for elves. He thought that he had nothing left in Anauroch and continued his travels, going from Amn to Chessenta, to Cormyr and he even sailed the Sea of The Fallen stars with a group of smugglers.. but he never stayed in one place for too long and was not interested in forming relationships due to his experiences in Anauroch.
    One day his travels, or aimless wandering, took him to Eltabbar in Thay. There he worked for a slavedriver by placing traps in the forest near the place where the slaves were held to disencourage escaping. He did not thrive doing this job, and the teachings of his parents and other elves came to his mind - he decided to free the slaves and thus enraging the slavedriver. Things in Eltabbar got a bit too hot and a change of climate was in place. After travelling north, and offering his skills, for a fee, to those in need on the way, he finally wound up in Narfell
