Colehouse's diminutive frame is lean, hard, and coated in a sallow swarthiness, the kind of Mediterranean skin tone that comes from dedicated lack of exposure to sunlight. He maintains a shaved pate, a short, black beard separated into several tight plaits, and a modest moustache whose ends are often arched upwards with the help of gnomish hair product. Bushy rectangular eyebrows sit over a round pair of murky blue-gray eyes, each bordered by faint crow's feet. A single thin furrow seems permanently engraved across his forehead. His hands are strong, calloused, and almost always dirty. His wardrobe is utilitarian and invariably made of natural fabrics dyed in earth tones. His speech is clipped and, while his voice falls into a medium timbre, it usually possesses an edge that turns the end of some sentences into a pubescent crack. He often smells of earth and acrid chemicals.
