Lurking in the Shadows

A man was found hung by his neck today in the woods north of the Crossroads, his hands were tightly tied behind his back. He wore armor decorated with symbols of helm and though one or two may be able to point him out as a man who spent most of his time in the Norwick Inn writing in his journal or drinking tea, nobody seems to know his name or what he was doing in the woods.
His exact killer(s) are unknown, as is most information about the man himself.
