A murdered town

*A town, roughly 50 miles east of Narfell was seen shrouded in death recently.
The entire towns guard, of more than 50 helmites were slaughtered bar 1, who was not amongst the dead, a few survivors (or at least those who were not to terrified to speak) spoke of a group in black and gold, supposedly everwatch knights, killing the entire contingent, merchants, commoners and defiling the temple of Helm and destroying its alter into pieces.
A small noticeable effect can be seen on trade coming into Narfell*

Rico Swift rides for the town, offering a free escort to any aid shipments. His first concern once there will be helping the survivors to rebuild. A farmer's son and an amateur smith, the knight knows his way round plow and hammer.
Given his demeanor and nature, he should not be difficult to find once there.

It is said that some of the survivors when been found,had some of their wounds already bandaged.Though none saw anyone doing it,but noticing only afterwards.

Hess the woodsman asks if this town has a proper name, and if anyone has traveled there for trade or other reasons.

*Shannon would discover that the group arrived, and after a time were allowed accses by the High Watcher to the temple, which is normally off limits to all, a day later guards were seen heading towards the group, and whilst the fight unsued, the temple was set on fire.
After calm appeared, a lowly street thug returned, seemingly to have been one of the few survivors, and started commanding people to do his will. One week later, he disappeared also, seemingly have fled the city, his small following slowly breaks apart.
The one missing helmite worked within the temple as admin of the confiscated equipment department.*
The vast majority of the money donated is passed out amongst the poor and maimed, yet some of it was intercepted and stolen by the temporarily leader of the town, the street thug who survived, oddly when his entire gang was killed

It's said that an anonymous person hsa donated 10,000 gold pieces to help the small town with the rebuilding

Upon hearing the news, Shannon immediately seeks out the survivors so that he might bring judgement upon those who committed the deed.
