Hoarrans Outside Peltarch

  • The two Senators, Ashald and Thel, arrive flanked by a small, but heavily armed escort of veteran Defenders. Not far behind, keeping a steely watch on the proceedings is a full unit of Cerulean Knights, with their commander Vera DeLoria in their midst.

  • ::the mighty Dwin Dolvak leaves this new parade ground and returns 2 days later, now brandishing a red epaulette with gold fringe similar to what Norwick militia officers sometimes wear. ::

In the absence of the Chancellor or Herald of the Realm, I shall be representing Norwick in these discussions.

Should Herald D'Cameron be able to make a safe trip to this land then I shall relinquish the discussions to her control.

::Dwin turns, nods briefly to Jerrick and finds a spot not-too-neAr anyone to stand and wait. ::

  • A short time afterwards, a mostly green and black clad figure arrives, Jerrick, nodding curtly and taking a place nearby as well. He states that he will be representing the Wolves of Narfell, and Circle of Quercatha Terr should another representative not be available.

  • A seemingly lightly armed female with honey colored hair and a relaxed way of speaking makes her way to the Hoarrans, and nods politely.

I am the representative for the Tribune Drelan Ashire, of Oscura.

Having introduced herself, Ashe makes herself comfortable nearby, and watches the comings and goings interestedly, often taking notes.

  • Finally one of the messenger shrugs..

Fair enough. The more the merrier. We'd like this matter settled as quickly as possible. Peltarch has appointed representatives. Perhaps Norwick will send some if they decide on who. Who knows about the Oscurans.

    Three days hence.

The two messengers head back towards the pavilon.

((Feel free to start posting representatives arrivals))

  • _General Theaon approaches the Hoarans outside Peltarch

"Greetings. With the issue of land ownership in these diplomatic talks, I would ask that the Troff Legion be allowed representation at this meeting considering that our Tower is located so close to the lands you feel are yours."

    He awaits a response_

  • It doesn't matter to me whether the invitation comes from you ory white haired magician friend here… If you all seek Norwick's voice in this conversation then let it be known!

There's alot of blathering inside these walls, my Hoaran friends, and it's possible that the vote on whether to vote on whether to consider te invitation of Norwick's Chancellor to this shindig is awaiting some kind of senatorial approval that I am not aware of. Of anyone's willing to man-up and speak on this matter, I'd 'ppreciate it.

  • Perhaps we misunderstand each other. No invitation has been given or received, but we believed Peltarch and Norwick leaders to be meeting already. A meeting Oscura was unable to attend. Were we mistaken?

  • Dwin smiles at the Hoarans

Perhaps we're on the edge of needing a translator… a 'moot' in my lands is another word for a meeting.

Norwick has perhaps received no invitation to be here, is what I am tryin to explain. That is, I have not been informed of any such invitation.

If you can tell me who sent or received such an invitation, I'd be happy to confirm attendance.

  • Ronan lofts a brow as the "powerful" dwarf hears what he wishes to. Shaking his head a moment, before looking to the Hoarrans once again, inclining his head in farewell. He then turns and heads back into Peltarch, toward city hall.

  • You misunderstand. Oscuran representation is moot at this point. They will not discuss things.

  • A powerful dwarf in gleaming silver armor approaches the messengers and looks at them both in turn.

As you might know, or you might not, it makes no difference to my ego… I am Dwin Dolvak, advisor to Senators and Past Chancellor of the Mighty Realm of Norwick.

You lads speak of Norwick's invitation to this moot, yet I have no confirmation that my peers in the south know of this meeting. Who did you invite, and who confirmed their presence here?

  • _Somewhat south of Jonathan's canopy, a line of forty or so cavalry crest a low lying ridge, sitting in their saddles awhile and looking north. Their leader finally motions them off their mounts and a quick camp is erected, few tents and no sense they will be staying a long time. Twenty retire to the tents almost immediately, another ten take up watching positions, and the last ten lounge about the fires.

Only one stays on their horse, a youngish woman staring intently still at the canopy to the north. Sitting her horse with a short staff strapped to her back, flying one of the Hoarran merchant's flags, a locked and chained box strapped to her horse behind her. Spear in a case alongside the saddle, many would still recognize Danielle._

  • The two messengers nod to each other, then one speaks to Ronan.

That will be acceptable. Once Norwick has chosen it's representatives, we shall sit down and discuss matters. Currently, Oscura has decided not to discuss things, so we will have no need to wait for their representation.

  • Senator Ronan comes through the gates of the wall, approaching the Hoarrans alone.

Greetings. I am, as you might know, Senator Ronan Redralen. Apologies for the delay.

The senate has agreed to send two representatives to discuss the land claims, lest you wanted audience with the senate in its entirety. If not, the two representatives chosen are Senator Mariston and Senior Senator Ashald.

We will await the date you set for the meeting, and for Norwick's answer.
