  • I finnaly made it far enough away from Waterdeep that I don't think anyone around here knows me. Decided since the accident to keep up with anything I learn about magic. This way I'll have something to look back on if I need to.

    Met a few people today after waking up, turns out people who can use magic around here aren't hunted down. Only if they break the law or cause damage to property.Means I won't be hunted down as long as I don't burn anything, shouldn't be to hard.

    This one elf La'ali told me that I should head to this place called the Spellweaver Keep, that I could probably learn alot there.
    I'll have to check it out another day, it's been a long walk and my legs are tired.


  • After searching nearly every building in Norwick I finnaly found the Spellweaver Keep, and I've got to admit I felt more then out of place.

    I mean I'm just a guard, or I was.
    Now I'm standing in a place that's all glowing and have these wierd symbols everywhere.
    The tower itself, not sure I've sen anything this big in my life, but if I'm going to figure these things out I'm sure that's the best place to start.

    I was almost amazed at the all of the books in there, not nearly as much as I was amazed at the giant golem thing standing in the middle of the place. Or the floating candles, or that light sharft looking thing in front of the golem.

    I grabbed a few books and started reading, the most of them weren't helpful at all, like the one to teach you to speak orcish. Seriously why would anyone want to speak to an orc?

    Did manage to find out some things though, for one I'll need to practice daily. Just have to keep it in secret for now. Still not sure how things like that are tolereated around here.

    Also found out that I'm not a wizard, because I've never seen a scroll or read one Gods know I don't have the patience to study.

    And something about Draconic lineage and that some that can do what i can might have had dragons in there family at some point or another.
    Also something about hand of Mystra or something, didn't seem to interesting so I skipped that chapter.

    ..and after reading all these things it only brought up more questions then I had before.
    Draconic Lineage, The Weave, Shadow Weave,Raw Magic, Wild Magic?
    Seems like the more I think I know the less I actually do.
    So what else was there to do but practice?

    Found a place just a bit south of Norwick, didn't see anyone around so i tried it again, took a little while but I managed to make fire from my hands four times!

    Book said not to overdue it and to do it everyday so it becomes easier..so for now that's what i'll do, until I can find someone who knows more about all these things and can make it a little easier to understand
