Flies Everywhere!

The Peltarch Commons were erupted into chaos just over a day ago when a large swarm of flies settled in the commons. They buzzed around for a bit, causing no harm.
An attempt by a Cerulean Knight was made to smoke them out with flaming hemp, much to no avail. Instead, the shopkeep from the Dolvak Exterminators store was summoned, who quickly cleared the flies out with an effective smoke bomb.
The flies promptly died. The Knight inquired as to the nature of the flies but before he could answer, the dwarf was struck by a magical energy (though he walked away fine). A few detect magic spells later and the Knight, along with a dwarf, two elves and two humans; were last seen heading into the sewers.
