Daviel Kyel

Born in Waterdeep, this man is the son of a traveling merchant. His father would sometimes hire mercenaries to guard the caravan from thieves and creatures that would wish to steal his goods. Daviel traveled with his father his entire life. Learning the lands and the riches they provide. His lust for hunting sparkedthe day the caravan he rode was attacked. Goblins came from all directions, first with arrows, then with blades. The hired fighters were hardly enough to withstand such an attack. The attack was lead by a Hobgoblin who had learned the common tongue from a prison he had spent some time in. Azguald, the Hobgoblin bandit, stole everything from the caravan as Daviel hid in a crate that carried in it, a greatsword, and a suit of banded mail. He pulled on the mail, hoping that if he was attacked the armor would shield his body. The top of the crate flew open, three smaller goblins had discoverd the teenage boy hiding.
Before they could relay their findings, a giant blade came swinging vertically, removing all three heads from the bodies. Daviel jumped from the crate, blood spatterd across his face, dripping from his lips as he looks up to face his enemies. His eyes darted from corpse to corpse as the dead guards and goblins alike litter the dirt road on which they traveled. Not spotted by the greedy goblins, Daviel ran to the front of the wagon, where his father had been leading the horses. He turned around the front of the wagon to witness his father, Daviel's only remaining family, being stabbed throught the chest by Azguald, the Murderous Hobgoblin Thug.
The hobgoblin thrusted his rapier straight through the body, ripping it out violently. The blood flew from the blade, some hitting Daviel's face causeing him to fall back in shock. Azguald heard the mail jingle as the scared teenager fumbled for his footing. The murderous thief stared at Daviel, inviting him to avenge his father with a simple blink-less glare. Daviel lifted the two-handed blade, dragging the tip as he charged toward the awaiting opponent. He managed to lift the weight once more to swing with all his body motion in hopes of ending this terrible tragedy. The blade was ill-aimed. Azguald sliced the back of Daviel, causing him to drop the blade, and fall to his knees.
Daviel kneels on the dirt, a heavy greatsword, probably meant for a hero in some far away land lays unwielded on the ground beside him. Azguald steps closer, his blood dripping Rapier held lightly in hand. The hobgoblin rests the blade on Daviels shoulder, the shapened edge making a fraction of contact with his neck. The boy quietly awaits death. He kneels, replaying the death of his father in his head. The noise of the gobins looting the wagons, the cold dampness of the crimson covered blade, all of it was replaced with an empty, hollow scream that echoed off the very walls of sanity this boy had left.
Azguald leans into the kneeling man, an evil smirk on his face as he speaks in a harsh accent. "Come find me when you're worth killing" these words were the last he'd heard before knocked unconscious, and left with the bodies as the wagons burned, and horses stolen.Three years later, Daviel Kyel misses his originated stop at Peltarch, only to land in Norwick. His work over the last three years as a bouncer, hunter, and all around pub-goer has brought him to Narfell in search of riches, fame, glory…and perhaps a lead on Azguald, the murderous hobgoblin thug.....
