A knock on the gate

Zarius knocks on the south gates, and calls inside, asking for a guard to come down, saying he has official business. When a guard does come down he hands him a sealed letter..Be a good chap and take this to the chancellor and the town advisor would you? I will wait right out here for their response he then goes back to leaning against the south wall.
