Parallel lives and visions, ramblings from an old Dwarf
-
I'm sure you've heard of the leaflets in Peltarch and other stories of this damned "parallel" history that seems to be creepin' into our own.
Seems to me its gettin worse… as if two authors started out writin' the same book, split off to write a few chapters, and now are tryin to re-align their wayward paths.
Seems in the other story Norwick was sacked by Ostromog. I dinna know if this woulda been the outcome or not, but I'm glad that it didnt happen that way.
But at the same time, it seems Jiyyd was spared. Tis a shame we can't pick the chapters from these two stories we like -- and make one solid story of the best parts, eh?
Any theories on what's happenin, or what the end-game is for all this madness?
Seems to revolve heavily around the N'Jast conflict--of which we played a peaceful role. If I were on the losin' side of that war, I might try to re-tell the story in a way in which I win. Maybe that's what this is all about, eh? Someone is takin their history-quill and tryin to rewrite what happened... is that something that Kara could do in her other-worldly place?

I'm not sure, but there may be more than one "past" that folks are crossing over to?
"From what I've been hearing about this, that may very well be the case."

OH there are all sorts of different stories. One is that the weapon deployed at Jyyd was actually set off in Peltarch instead. Another that Peltarch was going through some kind of civil war.
