njkt, you know you need to dl the pack yourself to start the proces ?
after dl-ing, your torrent client then starts the seeding.

Okay, fine. Do it however you want.
I'll try it and let you know if it works, and keep the torrent going, scaling bandwith based on whether or not I'm ingame.

what im saying is that the user can select which ones they want to download, if it were to be uploaded via torrent (i edited me previous post btw)

I'd rather have them all. I'm tired of looking at white boxes. That's more jarring than any animoo.

and could pick individually which ones you want (like say.. skipping the anime ones?)

If you did that, you could leave it uncompressed. Just to be on the safe side.

could also upload it via torrent then you dont need hosting.. just people to keep the torrent active.

http://www.rapidshare.com/ will take it. Go with the zip, as 7zip is windows proprietary.
Of course, a free rapidshare upload only has ten downloads before it's locked out. But it's better than nothing.

My portrait folder is 449mb in zip format, 372mb in 7z. If someone has a place for it, I'll upload it.

I think my whole portrait folder is pretty huge. If I remember right it's 400+ MB. Anyone know a good drop box we can use for this?

Actually, you need what I need. Someone to unpack the portrait pack and dropbox the whole thing, uncompressed. I've tried to get them all using WINE several times now, but the majority of portraits are corrupted. White boxes far as the eye can see.
