Anyone investigating this story will learn, as it is common knowledge in Norwick, that Mecc spent only a few days in jail afterwhich he was released. The story goes as follows: his role as an agent of the Defiler was faked and he was in truth an ally of the druids' circle. He is now living openly in Jiyyd, his hometown.
