Character: Dang WelteelDangs story begins, not like the tale the Bards tell in the taverns or inns. But much more simply. He was born to parents that at first, were very loving. His father worked on a fishing vessel and his mother was a serving maid at a local inn in the city of Arrabor. As the years went by and Dang began to growup, he noticed all was not as it seemed.
His father was a drunk and would often beat his mother. She never complained, only saying it was his right. This obviously affected his outlook on woman and went a long way torwards his less then gallant treatment of some of them. He admired them, but never really could respect them.
One day his father, in a drunken fury, beat his mother to death. This, of course led to his immediate arrest for murder. Young Dang was left to fend for himself. He was not exacly cut out for that life, and ended up wanted by the magistrate for pettycrimes that would have insured a several year sentence of hard labor.
So, one step ahead of the guards, he recieved a position on a merchant ship plying the inner sea. He traveled to many ports over the next two years, from Baxantur in Thay, to the port city Uthmerg in Ashaneth. There he recieved employment as a caravan guard ending up unemployed in N'Jast. One last stroke of luck, and he became a guard on a caravan heading to Peltarch. Now , unemployed again, he has found his way to Norwick.
