  • Account name: E-Ninj4
    Character Name: Roman Dragonsbane

Brief history of how Roman came to be in Narfell:

"Reveal the truth, punish the guilty, right the wrong, and always be true and just in your actions. Uphold the law wherever you go and punish those who do wrong under the law. Keep a record of your own rulings, deeds, and decisions, for through this your errors can be corrected, your grasp on the laws of all lands will flourish, and your ability to identify lawbreakers will expand. Be vigilant in your observations and anticipations so you may detect those who plan injustices before their actions threaten law and order. Deliver vengeance to the guilty for those who cannot do it themselves."

Somthing Roman had always had drilled into his mind, ever since he was young. His father, or that is who he called him, a man by the name of Lyonal Dragonsbane, had found Roman as a young man, while on a pilgimage to Icewind Dale. It was apparent that Romans true family had been killed by the snow beast, and only he remained, hidden in a small and low outcropping of stone on the road side. Cold and barly alive, the young 2 year old boy was taken in by Lyonal, a Cleric of Tyr.

It was apparent over the years, that although Lyonal was successfull in teaching his new found son the ways of Tyr, Roman could not grasp the ability of a Cleric of Tyr. Though it was that very reason, that Roman began a new path to serve Tyr, he vowed to hold steel, and become great and physically strong, to enforce justice with his streangth. Roman was successfull, he became increadibly strong, and naturally tall and intimidating.

It was near this time of discovery, that Lyonal came to realize his sons Icewind Barbarian blood, for his son towered over him in physical streangth and size. Though, neither of them cared, both were intent to aid lean on each other, and be family none the less.

All was well and good betwen the two, untill one day, when travelling with his father to the city of Neverwinter, that Roman and Lyonal Dragonsbane came upon a group of travellers upon the road. They seemed injured, hurt, fleeing. In Tyrs name, they turned to aid them, to ask what injustice had been layed upon their wounded bodies. It was then, that they realized their injuries were not injuries at all, but large, hidious, stitched scars. The seemingly wounded travellers threw back their cloaks, revealing their pale skin. "We will take your corpses in the name of Velsharoon!" was the call upon the mens lips. Roman faught hard, along with Lyonal, but were outnumbered 5 to 2, and were eventually defeated, Lyonal falling to a sword wound, lay face first in the road, a short sword protruding from his back. Roman managed to use his streangth to take down his would be assailant, but it was because of this, that the others were able to drag his fathers body off to do whatever it was they did to defile the dead.

It was from then on, that Roman became even more devout to Tyr, vowing to avenge the injustice done to his adopted father, and destroy those who would do the same to others, and clense the world of followers of Bane, Cyric, Velsharoon, and other evil aligned deities. Tyr, now a bit older, has arrived in Narfell on his long journey, only to find that the area had many of its own problems and injustices, it was because of this he decided to stay for a while.

    Distinguishing markings:
Roman is easily marked by the black glove on his right hand, and a small symbol depicting balanced scales resting upon a warhammer, tattoed under his right eye, along with many other decorative tatoos, all of which are obvious to any observer, pay great respect and homage to Tyr.
