Missing!


  • Syclya walks into the bar and sidles up to Celad. After getting a quick rundown of what has been said and suggested. She speaks:

    While I think this could work, I am going to admit, this will not be as easy as it may seem. What if I lose you to this murderer Celad, if the plan fails in any way? frowning deeply as she says this Regardless, I will support your wishes, if you think this the best way to catch her, then so be it. I cannot help with the disquising, apart from helping you pick out proper farmer-esque clothing. But I can bless you with Torm's graces to help you should things go sour. she smiles faintly then and puts a hand on his shoulder


  • (( Celad listens to Yngdir, nodding his head))

    Of course you did the right thing, but I bet they do not catch her. And, what if we are wrong? I know it seems unlikely, but do we dare chance another innocent life? I for one would rather lose some sleep hanging out for a few days on some stretch of road hoping to snare a murderer. Then to ever have to look into a mothers eyes and tell her I failed.

    I could use some help, I need someone to talk to the locals and ask them to keep watch for her. And I need people willing to watch over me, while I play the bait. And I need some one to help disguise me.

    But please understand, even if some think this foolish, I will still do this. I can do nothing else until we know one way or another who the killer is.


  • "The Peltarch Guards were informed already." Yngdír finally confesses.. "It would have been foolish to go about it any other way; if there's even the possibility that Jaelle is the murderer, and in Peltarch then it is better to have their Guards on alert. There is now a warrent for her arrest, if she is innocent she will be released. If she is not then the murders will stop. You will have to forgive me for acting independantly, but in this case lives are the price of hesitation."

If de findin er keepin er ta bein questioned nods just tellin peoples ta bein on de look outs fur ers. Mes tinkin its bein bout 20 coin fur posters per cities nae not expensive ta findin de killers!

    Oi lad, mes knowin me just comin inta dis ba ow yas tinkin its be dis miss Jaelle, aint she bein part of de red cloaks dat protectin dis cities? if de killers bein smartnuffs ta killin in de cities witout no ones seen yas tink dey be able ta smellin outs a traps. Mes tinkin wes lookin at des targets n tryins ta findin whys des peoples were ttacked ta figurin out de nextin targets.


  • (( Celad looks around the gathering. His usual cheerful expression displaced by a look of cold anger.))

    I know we can not go to Peltarch, and I know that there are some people who still think there is a chance that the murderer is not Jaelle. Thats fine with me. All I want is for the one who is guilty, to pay. Even now I am hearing of rumors that a third killing has happened in Peltarch itself. Now whether it is related to the others? I do not know.

    But, I do know that someone who kills for the pleasure of it, as this bitch seems to do, will be out looking for another victim. I say we give her one.

    ((His eyes scan the group, settling on Thorn))

    See, I can avoid being rash when I have to. ((small slightly twisted grin))

    Just in case it is Jaelle, we need someone either she does not know or a very good disguise. We will surround the "victim" with people under spells or potions of invisibility. The only real queston is where? Where will she strike next?
    ((Looks around the group again))

    Any ideas? Anything at all? We need to do this together. Us, the Hold, Spellweaver, the Circle, even Oscura. If we work together we can catch her.
    ((Sits back and waits for their response))

    Labur happens to already be in the Grapevine drinking his usual helping of ale. After seeing the group amass he too stays to listen sipping another ale as he waits

    Kylar makes his way to the Grapevine and sits down with the others


  • Thorn steps in to the back door of the grapevine. With a nod to Kresha, and small wave to the shy Lana, he makes his way to the bar. Holding up one finger to Yumiko, she poors him some tea. They exchange a few words before he turns to look over his shoulder, watching the others, perking his ears and listening closely to whatever plan they may have.


  • (( Celad asks those who helped in the search to meet him at the Grapevine Inn, he might have a plan to catch the murderer.))


  • (( A lone figure stands above the newly dug grave of the mudered boy Horace. He stands in the rain for a while, then kneels down and places some flowers on the grave. He bows his head, and the says three soft words))

    I am sorry.


  • (( The boy Horace was found in the river by a fisherman. He had been dead for a couple of days. A divining was done on some flesh found under his fingernails. It showed that the flesh belonged to Jaelle. Aramuil is speaking to the peltarch senate and the chancellor Dwin. Only time will tell if justice will find her.))


  • Unsurprisingly, the Ranger Yngdír has apparently decided to stay out of the investigation; no-one can truly understand his reasons, yet the most likely is that he feels the Norwick Militia will approach him in the unlikely event that they can't handle it.

    Struck by an idea, Kylar heads to spellweaver to see if the mages can help discover anything about this mystery woman

    After not getting any information from the riverboat captain, Kylar heads back to meet with the group, hoping they had more success with the gate guards, though suspecting they have not

    Kylar taps his chin in thought, after hearing no one in the grapevine has seen this woman "Welp I guess the next step would be to start askin roun town to see if anyone has seen this woman at all. I suggest we each go to a different place, then meet back at the inn with our findins. I'm gonna go ask the riverboat captain, why don you two points to them check with the gaurds at the two gates?" Kylar then heads off to question the riverboat captain and the ticket seller


  • Celad snaps his fingers
    Hey, that discription matches a woman wanted in Oscura for the same thing!! A man named Jim Bob was killed there,, maybe the same woman. I went there to help with the search.

    Like I said lass….she asked fer directions ta the Grapevine...he gave 'er directions...'n that were it... she seems slightly annoyed that she had to repeat herself.
