Maya in Prison

Maya was seen leaving the prison.

Albry was seen entering the Gaol, spending most of the night with Aelthas as they watched over Maya before returning to Norwick.

_Aelthas sits there with Maya, all through the night and well into the next day, a bucket of water and some rags he uses to dab at her forehead to try and keep the fever down. He also sends one the Guards to see if Daisy can come to the prison to try and do anything about her condition..
If Daisy does show up, he explains to her about the way she was talking as if she younger, years ago, asking for people long gone after Ronan used a mind blank spell on her to try and clear her mind._

While in town for a meeting with the Senate, the Chancellor of Norwick stops into the gaol to see his friend Maya. He nods briefly to Yana if he sees her, and speaks quietly to Maya while approaching her cell.
Are you OK, Maya? Is there anything I can get for you–any messages to relay?
Any idea how long they plan on keepin ya in there, lass?
By the time Dwin gets there, Maya appears unfocused, words slurring. She has bouts of anger, followed by confusion. Dwin doesn't get any straight answers, other than partial sentences muttering about betrayal.
She eventually collapses, and appears near death, but is healed about half way. Ronan puts some kind of spell on her, and she talks relatively lucid for awhile, but about odd things way in her past, as if they were the present. After several applications of the spell wear off, she convulses, and now rest in the cell embroiled in fever.

Aelthas kindly reminds Dwin to keep his distance.. to go no closer than five feet from the bars so she can't get her hands out to him.

after seeing her condition and hearing her semi-nonsensical replies, Dwin nods a bit sadly and pats Aelthas in a friendly way on the shoulder before taking his leave.

At first Maya doesn't accept the food, perhaps out of spite, but hunger gets the better of her and she eats. However, when you whisper back and forth her face contorts to one of hatred, as if you are all conspiring against her.

He pulls a balled rag out of his pack and offers it to a guard._

He points to his mouth.

In another corner of the jail, someone has decided that if he can't fight the guards, he can still annoy the cripes out of the guards. Cups banging on bars and purposefully bad singing (at first all sorts of raunchy things about the guards' wives, but soon shifting to include the guards' supposed male lovers and obsession with various animals farm animals.

Benji nods to Aelthas
Well that's good to hear.
Benji turns to the cell and gives Maya a quick wave

Aelthas smiles up at Benji
"Doing good, with luck Maya will be out shortly and not looking to kill everyone in sight."

Not long after his jailing, and after he was stripped clean of all equipment and released from the shackles, Hammerhand was approached by Aelthas for a short conversation. However, as Aelthas walked away, Hammer called him back and tried to taunt him into fighting, for whatever stubborn reason. Aelthas didn't take the bait though.

_Benji stops by the Gaol. As he enters the room and sees those gathered he trips and stumbles a few steps.
He adjusts his glasses and mutters._
Uh…
He scratches the back of his head.

//yes, no null magic.. and maybe they break the fingers of casters? ::smiles:: The old Romani way, or maybe they just have special shackles and gags to keep them from casting?. Either way, I thought you knew this.
As a note, thats why Aelthas ordered the extra security, people with hold spells, etc.. in case she -did- do the whole.. grr thing and try to get free.

Healing -does- work down here and she already tried to rip my arm off, him staying back was for his protection as much as anyone elses. He was given a lawful order by the Guard and decided to disobey it, so now he sees a cell for it. I want Maya to be comfortable too, but she already tried to call down Tempus on us, you -know- what that means Yana, so until she is cleared in the head a bit, no, he isn't healing her.
With that said.. Aelthas heads off for a bit to file the report.. coming back a short time later and taking his spot by the cell again, opening his book once more as he mutters to himself.

Though Hammerhand is overwhelmed by the four guards, he hardly goes peacefully, kicking and punching and fighting. Halfway trough he almost breaks free, but the sheer numbers manage to drag him into his cell. Even then, it takes a good amount of manacles and chains to finally restrain him. "You farkin' cowards! It takes -four- of you! You're pathetic! Tempus curse you sorry farks! All of you! Let those giants rip all your heads off!"

And as Hammer moves up.. Ael jumps up to help the Guards, taking Hammer down in a flurry of fists.. having him hauled off to a cell himself for disobeying the Guards orders..
Yana however, remains calmly seated throughout. She looks up as the violence starts up and Hammer is dragged off. "You know folks, it would have comforted her, and there's nothing he can do down here anyway. So you're all beating him up so he….what...Doesn't get beat up by mom instead? How...brilliant.
