A missing Druid?
-
[Made into it's own post by request]
Anybody passing by Jerrick's camp in the Rawlins near the Misty Pond… will notice a rather disturbing scene.
His campfire is wrecked, the ground is torn up a bit, and it looks like there was a ferocious battle there, with blood on the trees and grass.
Strangely, it looks like some of this blood was used to paint a red message in the grass, that reads,
"BAD KITTY, should have taken the deal! "The local Druids or any others with the ability to recognize Jerrick's scent would know right away that this is Jerrick's blood…
He has not been seen anywhere since.
-
//strangely the plants and animals have little to say. The plants there know of jerrick, and say he was there, then gone. Animals were not awake or present for whatever happened though.
-
Malika returns to the area and questions all the animals she can find about what they saw. <speak to="" animals="">lvl 1 druid spell</speak>
-
after Belia gets control of her emotions she goes back to meditating at the sight and comes up with an idea she prays to silvanus as she takes the spell speak to plants ((LvL 3 druid spells duration 1 minute per lv)) to ask the trees what they saw
// hehe time to have fun and love being a druid

After hearing news of Jerricks disappearance, Marty speeds down from Peltarch as fast as her pony can take her. Both she and her pony are quite flustered when they finally arrive at the scene.
Shite…
thinks
Okay, it would take someone with more than half a brain to take down Jerrick. Someone with more than half a brain would know that most of his close friends are the best trackers in Narfell… So if they had more than half a brain I guess they'd either fly or teleport away if they lacked the ability to move tracklessly...
thinks, packing her pipe as she does so.
Who would call the Alpha of the Wolves "Kitty"?
Who proposed a "deal" with him that he turned down?
And what kind of a psyco writes messages in blood?
Has anyone questioned the witnesses? What did they say?

After hearing about de missing druid, Vanderkaus chooses a quiet spot in the south valley and starts praying for the well being of Jerrick.
He also asks Helm for some guidance on this matter.
He does so for several hours not paying atention to anyone or anything around him.
After that, he returns to his post at the gate so others can be free to walk about the sourounding areas in search for tracks.

Perhaps not surprisingly, Yngdír has taken apparently little interest in Jerrick's disappearance - despite all the blood and grim warning. He instead stands as a visage in the background with his hawk perched on his forearm. He speaks to the bird quietly, and probably in Elven with empathic tones, while so many of the others trample around on all the evidence and tracks.
"You know Jerrick, fly high Nímar. Look at all the world below you, find him."
After a while he appears to point directly at Jerrick's little patch of land, and with a quick and gentle stroke of the birds cheek he releases her up into the air, and waits patiently on the exact same spot. Although perhaps unnecessary, it is to Yngdír - amusing.
::Nímar (the hawk) soars higher and she circles the Misty Pond area - soon as she's gained some speed she flies off with a cry typical of the bird of prey, and is very quickly out of sight.::

- Standing quietly in the shadows Celad watches and waits, hoping to be able to help the man that has helped so many others through the years. As he waits the anger mounts. And if you look close, you will see what appears to be a shadow sharpening a small blade. He whispers,,,* There is only one choice!
-
Horlamin ignores anything said about Jerrick, and continues scouring the forest with Icestalker looking for him, teeth bared and ready to rip some throats out.
-
//you find absolutely nothing…it's as if something was blocking you...
-
Aramuil gathers up a bit of the blood, placing it in a vial. "I'll give scrying a try, worse comes to worse I find nothing." ((Is there a DM for this?))
-
Aelthas can be seen early the next morning, kneeling by the fire outside Jerricks place, glancing around slowly. He stands slowly and looks around at everyone there, clearing his throat a bit.
Folks, I won't tell you to not look for him, but let's remember.. Jerrick knows how to survive and the last thing he would want, was his friends rushing off all over, putting themselves in danger. Look for him, but do so with your heads, not with rage building in you to find whatever or whoever did this.
With that, he glances a moment at the black panther then stands and heads off towards the Ferry to Peltarch without another word. Mumbling something to himself as he walks.
-
Ronan enters the scene, collecting a vile of some of the blood that was dropped, frowning deeply.
I will take this to Spellweaver and have it scried. Maybe it shall yield some clues… I'll return with news soon.
He then heads off to the north, letting the trackers track while he heads off to Spellweaver..
-
twirls his axe a couple times and looks to the animals present Let me knoow when Tindra, Malika.. My Axe will be at your side… Also, if you wish I can have a cleric or mage scribe fer his location... Thar is plenty of his blood here.
-
Rasuil joins the scene and takes a careful look around, noting the now heavily trampled area. Deciding to search through the more heavily wooded areas as well, before heading to the Glenn to speak with the others that gather there about their findings and thoughts.
-
_After his Lengthy and meticulous search, Brendel straightens up finally.
Murmuring quietly to Malika and Tindra:
"I have found nothing that stands out, I am heading to Norwick to think on what I have seen. Please let me know what you sniff out."
He then slips away East, moving slowly and quietly._
-
A ferocious bear accompanied by a large white wolf are seen in the area quite often, sniffing around.
-
((reposting from rumors thread))
A dark panther is soon examining the message and surrounding area, trying to sniff out clues.
-
Garagor stands around clueless
-
belia also checks the scene looking around and listens to the others
