PC:Vash Greensummers
Login: Senria RydralonVash was orphaned at a young age in Cormyr, where he was taken in by a monastery therein. For quite some time, young vash trained diligently in the ways of the monks, though he was often alienated by the other children due to his love of animals. He enjoyed sleeping outside at night, gazing at the stars, and always seemed to wander off over the monastery walls and into the nearby woods. Whenever he was not training, sleeping, or eating, Vash would watch the birds instead of meditating, or to play with the errant cat. As Vash reached his teenage years, the teasing grew progressively worse until he was beaten up as often as he would stop to admire the beauty in nature.
After years of this torment, it came to a crashing halt one day when the young boys beat Vash up worse than usual and even went so far as to start torturing one of the cats Vash often kept company with, when suddenly creatures came forth from the air and ground to defend him. Birds pecked at the eyes of Vash's tormentors, cats, dogs, and rats gnawing at their arms and legs. For this, Vash was cast out of the monastery, from where he left the city and began camping in the forest he so often visited. It was here that the Oak Father first gave him a sign, in the form of a badger delivering to him a twig of dead wood for his fire. From this moment on, Vash lived in the wild, moving up into the tattered remains of the Dalelands, and then into the area of the Moonshaes, where, one night, he entered a druid encampment. The druids there spoke of having seen a vision of a flock of birds, to which another bird joined the flock in their flight and took Vash under their wing, training him in the ways of the Oak Father.
An offshoot group of the Watchers of Sevreld, this circle of druids worked feverishly to restore order to the areas surrounding the dalelands, though recently with the destruction of the Circle of Yeven and the Battledale Seven, their efforts have proven rather fruitless. Over the years, Vash aided these druids in their restoration of balance, but the Oak Father called him to a different purpose, filling him with wanderlust. And so he bid his fellow druids good tidings and went on his way with little more than his wolfskin jerkin and a wooden ring that he received upon his initiation into the circle of druids. After months of wandering, he finally came upon the Rawlinswood, in which he felt a horrible presence. He knew then why he had been sent to the lands of Narfell.
