A Popular Tale of Fighting and Glory



  • _Perhaps those caravaneers, the merchants and the travellers - or simply the adventuring class can share a similar tale from the city as has been circulating around a much broader radius. Those stories, true though they are, of the Defender Captain 'Aelthas' and his group of allies from around the realm defending the city from the greater evil of 'Necromancy'. Here and there pieces are added to the tale, especially open to those travelling abroad.

    From the telling of it, the story raises Peltarch and her walls to grand status - with all of her allies eager to prove their worth, or to test their steel in defense of the good city. The familiar names in the story are the man named Lucy, and the Defender Captain made popular, Aelthas.

    Perhaps it is then that the main story originated in Peltarch just as the other. Perhaps so, it is those in the city who will gain a fuller account of the tale…_
