    Lacey Chandler was the little sister of two. John, her brother, was 9 months older than her. They both were born in Akathla, far away in the swordcoast. Both of her parents were merchants, black market merchants nontheless, and they used to sell the stuff they stole from the hosue of the people they assaulted or also from their assasinations. It was a family assasins guild.

    Lacey and John, when just little more than children, participated in small thievery events, both together, used to be able to fool people at the streets and get for themselves some good hundred coins.

    With time, their actions became more significant, entering noble houses to steal expensive art-works or jewelry, and they did all this together, and always split everything equally amongst them. So far, their parents and family were quite proud of it, but at the age of 18 both were "upgraded" in rank in the family, and became assasins.

    Their first attempts to acomplish with their assasinations failed. They had to work on their own, and they were not used to that. Their family would find that not good, and even their fathers would look at them bad, understimating them.

    In order to earn some respect, Lacey and John prepared a big plot to assasinate the rival guild's leaders. Not an easy task, but they had to do it. They planned it together, they executed it together, and they succeded together. A clean job. Lacey grabbed the ring from the finger of the leader as proof("Savrok's grace"), and both went to their families for recognition.

    Unexpectedly though, they encountered no respect. Moreover, even their closests relatives would look at them poorly because they couldn't work alone, as a proper assasin should, never trusting anyone nor having to rely on someone else to do their job propertly.

    Far from happy with that, John and Lacey decided to leave Akathla, find a new place to settle down and start building up a reputation, with the intention of being some day known as far as possible, to show their family they are the best at it.
