Tyrald Rythen, 'Father Raldi'

Raldi grew up in a shepherd's family in Peltarch. Raldi's family lived near a small village on the outskirts and made a living from selling wool. Times grew hard for them as several rough winters killed many of their sheep, and so Raldi - in an effort to spare the family his burden - entered the priesthood at a young age, serving as an acolyte well into adulthood. He lived a mostly sheltered life, but got a hard dose of the grim reality of the world around him from those whom he helped to care for. Raldi made a special effort to bring aid and succor to those who oftentimes could not help themselves - children, women, the aged and infirm. Ilmater showed Raldi favor during this period when a young boy, pierced by an arrow, was brought from the brink of death by Raldi's ministrations.
The Maimed God bade him learn about the suffering of the world. Old Raldi spent some years living in abject poverty, living mostly on faith. He learned to find the strength to grant hope to others, even when he himself lacked strength. This experience made him very humble, though it took a heavy toll on his body. Despite this, the old priest became adept at healing, intent on relieving the suffering of others.
Raldi still occasionally ventures out of the Temple of the Triad, where he may often be found. So long as there is suffering in the world, old Father Raldi has sought to end it.
