Born into a wealthy family Mikhael grew up with all the unnecessary frivolities simpletons lived without. But it goes without saying his family was far from the ideal citizens that their status made them appear to be. In his family's basement, his fathers and forefathers all secretly practiced the forbidden art of necromancy. However, his father had something else planned for Mikhael.
Mikhael would still worship Velsharoon along with the rest of his family, yet he would receive little training in the art of reanimating the dead. Instead, he would seek to understand the power of physical manifestations of the living dead. Mikhael would train in the order of the Long Death and seek power within the realm between death and life before he could train with any sort of conventional weapon, armor or magic.
His father left him to become strong in body and practice before Mikhael would take over the family business.
